He honestly has a good point about Rae and being a really good RP streamer. Not only does she really care about the entertainment of the audience, but she just does so much it’s mind-boggling. Even when so many classic streamers stopped for a while because of burn-out and whatnot, she kept going and made some really good freaking RP.
Jagger needs to take more credit for his RP. I think Ray M and Chatterbox works so well because the streamers behind them put a lot of thought and effort into making sht happen. The acting and improv is insane! NEITHER of them ever thought their characters would get this far but their characters mesh so well together. I’ve been so grateful for this ride! It’s like a TV show!
A chatter said it best… if he wasn’t there to match her energy she wouldn’t have gotten a chance to do all the stuff she’s done. They both deserved all the praise they’re getting and more!!
Aly is right! Jagger is such a great role player! Jagger and Rae both have great chemistry and talent for these arcs! Both of them are allowing the audience to be immersed and feel what each character is going through! In a perfect world both would win role players of the year cuz HOLY SHIT YALL ARE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!!!
In my head, I definitely see Chatterbox changing. However, because of how deep his love runs for Cups, I definitely think he will always remember her and love her no matter what their personalities are. That’s just me, though, and I definitely love and respect what the streamers do. It’s always an awesome choice, and I love watching it.
I never really get emotional at much, yet after watching the entire stream from Valkyraes prospective I need to replace my carpets in my house due to water damage from my many tears! WTF has chattercups done to me??
My headcanon for the end of the arc: Ray Mond regains her memories and marries Chatterbox. Ray Mond finally understands that CG does not love her, they treat her like a gang member and that's as deep as it goes. Ray Mond's eyes open to "Project for the boys" and she realizes that the clowns love her more and will have her back. The clowns all regain their personalities back.
Yeah, after Valkyrae’s Island Cold Open, then the split personality, the 3.0 CG retro Ray Mond amnesia… I understand why Jagger is asking, “But will my idea be good enough?” I honestly would hate to follow Rae up right now… 😅
As someone whose been a part of role play in many different forms; forum rp, discord, mmo, table top games, etc. The entirety of the chattercups arc has been some of the most intriguing and genuinely well done RPs I've ever seen. Everyone's committed to the story, even if it means potentially catastrophic results for the character. It's been wonderful to watch these past few months.
Chatterbox needs to give himself some credit. Without them perfecting matching each other energy we wouldn't have months and months of amazing content, and these last couple of days have been an emontional roller-coaster. The emontions that they put behind their characters were amazing. If this was a movie, they would've won an Oscar nomination. They both deserve some type of award.
jaggerbox is such a humble guy, so down to earth and is so good at his job. i agree rae is doing beyond phoenomenal but so is he!!!! RPSTREAMERS OF THE YEAR FOR ME
Either Rae or Jagger deserve RP'er of the year. Hands down. No third choice. If I had to pick between them though... It would be so hard... I'd lean towards Jagger purely because he roleplays more often than Rae and he's kept this character going for longer and set up this frame for other characters like Rae, Ellum, Thio, Twinkles, KGU, etc to build off of. However, in RP talent, they're the same... Both of them are far too humble in their own rights. They pull each other higher and higher because they are both competitive and passionate about their entertainment. They keep setting new bars that the other pushes to cross. It is incredibly rare you find that level of chemistry between two individuals that meet randomly and don't discuss it! It blows my mind every day that this is all improv! If Jagger's claim of "She's driving" is true, then he's the engine that powers her plans. If she's those seeds of content, Jagger's the soil and nutrients that's letting it grow. They built this TOGETHER. They're going places TOGETHER. Without the other, they would not be as effective. They need to take their credit that's deserved!
Watching the Chattercups arc is what finally got me into GTARP. It spoiled me too. I love how the vibe of 4.0 is starting to become growth. Like characters are changing and growing instead of being stagnant. Absolutely LOVE seeing character progression. It's the best part of RP as a concept. Watching the character you love grow.
While I don’t disagree with his thoughts on valkyrae. He does need to take more credit for his ability to RP. They feed off one another. I can’t wait for this new arc
