Oh my goodness way to make me cry 😭 That was so not on my bingo card for today 😂 That was so generous of you Jerika to share. Appreciate you and your channel and your kind words ❤❤❤
Just want to tell you that subscribing to your Patreon was the smartest business move i made this year. I retired in August, opened my brick and mortar "Emporium" in September. I live and sell my products in a seasonal tourist town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The need to sell online to suceed is important and watching your professional video's is paramount to building my confidence to make my own. That is my goal for next year. Thank you for the access to such amazing recipes!
Love the shoutouts to fellow community makers and sellers….I have found this sense of responsibility to other makers of “whatever” to be commendable and one of the reasons I return to their videos over and over again……so appreciate the “philosophical” basis for business building…..
Finally, I can't wait until Monday. I'm like a kid in a candy store with your products. I can't get or have enough. I want be like you when I grow up, lol. Great video for an awesome woman. 💞🧡
I think you can do your tops in a slab mold. After pouring the batter into the slab I *lightly* make an indentation on the soap with a ruler to mark exactly where the loaves will cut so I can spoon my soap tops in the way I want. The the base of your soap top is definitely doable and will look great! I think you can definitely do it!
So fun to se you soaping again! Your tops are definitely uniquely yours. I tried to emulate that style on a couple of my soaps last year and was told by the guys in my family that I made Klingon's spine soap!🙄So I don't even try those now! 🤣Yours look beautiful though!
I have used a 50/50 solution when I plan to make a lot of soap. When I make it, I get a bag of ice from the store, and store the solution in the container the water came in. The SoapGal has a great video,,,but I scaled down from her 100 lbs!
Loving the vlogmas. I know you have to make these videos with less production (less camera angles) so less time consuming to put out. I have to say I enjoy this format just as much as you more produced videos. Brings me back to the videos of your earlier years, but still captures your message and content just as good.
Hi Valerie, where can I get more info? There's equipment I'm looking for. That's sad...I hope they are closing for positive reason, their shop is amazing
You make "the making of soap" look so easy and simple. What would be your advice for someone making soap for the first time? Lye seems so scary, but I know I have to get over that to succeed in making soap. More so than soap, I really want to make body butter, lotions, and sugar scrubs. Do you have any tips on those crafts as well? Also, congratulations on the success of your launch!
Hey Jerika, Love everything you do!! I was hoping you could give me some good advise on wholesaling. I myself have a small soap business and have a chance to do some wholesale. Little nervous on what to charge?
So want to masterbactch too at some point...I do the same thing...have you ever did the heat transfer method for Melting your oils? You don't have to wait so long for temps to be just right. Your soap tops are amazing!
I am a litle confused - the first thing I learnd when I was starting making soap that I have to let them stand for 30 days befor I could sell them, before that they are not ready 🤔
Ready to purchase by Dec 18! I ship the bars a week after release and by the time they reach customers, they’re completely cured. Check out the Soap Gals video on soap cure times and how to get them shorter 😊
