Also, when I say Jewel, I’m talking pieces of you/ spirit. In my mind those are the only two albums she’s ever made, I didn’t like the other stuff

I can give you my Chai recipe: 4 cups of water in a pot, + 2 cinnamon sticks 5-6 green cardamom pods (cracked open) 4-5 cloves 1-2 star anise (whole) 4-6 whole peppercorns (do not used ground pepper...trust me) 1/4" slice of fresh ginger Simmer in the water for a minimum 20 minutes to get those flavours infusing into the water + your teabags of choice, to the strength of tea you prefer. (Weak =1 bag, Medium strong= 2 bags, strong= 3 bags) keep water on a simmer and allow those tea bags to steep for a minimum of 3 minutes upwards of 5 minutes. Once done to your desired strength, strain all of the spices and teabags from the water. Add the sweetener and milk of your choice. No ground spices to leave residue in your tea and you can adjust the quantities of each spice to your personal preference. I minimize the cloves and up the cardamom and ginger because that is what I prefer, but you adjust to your tastes. What you don't drink hot is great over ice for lovely iced Chai if you like those as well. Enjoy 🍵

Re: TTPD songs all sounding the same -- that's exactly what I thought! Like, maybe they'll feel more concrete in my memory on a re-listen, but currently it's all a big haze. "I Can Do It With A Broken Heart" is one of the few standouts. But I've seen so many people praising it that I was worried I was just out of touch 😅

I don’t ever comment here, just lurk 😂 but I wanted to say please keep updating about adulting things 😅 especially the dentist. I have so much work I need done I’m sure of it, never had a cavity before (I’m 33 and terrified). I’ve been putting off going tho because I’m so scared and it’s to the point where I absolutely have to go and hearing you talk about it is giving me the encouragement I need to tackle it. We’re in the process of moving at this very moment lol but after that I’m going to schedule my appt thanks to your dental segments in your vlogs 😂❤ thank you 😊

You brought me into my thriller ERA, like a knight in shining armor on your gallant steed. I've tried a few thrillers and I was not thrilled so to speak, but I am reading one of your recommendations "Lock Every Door" by Riley Sager and so far it is chef's kiss🤌🏽... Like the way the main character experiences loss and poverty as a woman is so real. Thank you again for another wonderful recommendation 🙇🏽‍♀️... And I think Jules is a medium coffee kind of girlie with 3 sugars and 2 creamers because it's cheap and she's too busy grinding for anything else, the vibe is a crowded New York coffee shop that's too crowded and anxiety inducing. 😅

A curio/ China cabinet would be good to display the pretties. You could put one against the wall to the right of your coffee bar set up. They make them in all sizes and depths with glass doors and shelves.

The reason you might not be getting the amount of espresso from the 30 second pull may have more to do with the grind of the espresso (varies based on temperature and humidity) and how tightly you tamp the espresso before pulling. However, if you found a setting that is working for you and you like the flavor, keep doing that 😁

Ah the Lavender! You should make a Syrup for drinks. I am growing my own currently so I can make Lavender in my London Fog. Tip if you decide to grow it; It is in the mint family so I NEEDS to be contained to a pot. It is weed like and will take over your whole yard/lawn/garden if you let it free

The best time is whenever you want to honestly! I use Final Cut pro for my editing but that’s only because iMovie was crashing a lot on my laptop, I don’t think the upgrade is a total necessity.

Starting to think we are twins! I liked the same Taylor songs you do and the others are ok. The lyrics are interesting though. I also enjoyed her song about Travis cuz it's happy. It hurts to throw away expired food, etc. Its all the food "Im not in the mood" for, and graham cracker crust pie shells that I never made. Nitrous doesn't wirk on me....1 in a thousand 😔 I love my dentist. She lets me bring my pillow and my crystals that I set up around the room. 🤗

the main character in my current read, a story of a new name, elena, would definitely be a typical italian girl and order either a cappuccino or shot of espresso. she wouldn't like it but she would make it her whole personality because it's what "educated people" drink. if she saw someone at the cafe that she perceived as smart she would also order whatever they ordered. if the book was a cafe it would definitely be a small, overcrowded and stuffy cafe covered in tile in the middle of a poor italian neighborhood with basically only a bar where working men could smoke, chat and stand while taking a shot of espresso on their break.

Curious if TTPD has grown on you since then? (if you have listened to it more that is 😜) I liked the vibe straight away, but some songs really needed a bit of time to grow on me. For the coffee order thing, I'm reading the Brothers Karamazov right now and I immediately had answers! Aloysha is a very sweet and wide-eyed boy but he's also a monk in training, so I think he's used to having simple meals and such, so I think he would be perfectly comfortable with just a plain black coffee or tea, no milk or sugar. Ivan wants to be an intellectual so bad, I think he would force himself to drink earl gray tea until he liked it. Dmitry puts on a very tough exterior but in reality's he's just nervous and wants cuddle time with his lady friend, so I think he would order a cappuccino and then dump as many sugar packets into it as he can, quickly and discreetly so that no one sees him doing so (he so wishes to one day order one of the super sugary frappes. I'm almost positive he's had a girl order one for him but pretend it's hers) Smerdykov drinks exclusively Irish coffee. If the coffee doesn't have whiskey in it, he won't drink it. Period.

I haven’t listened to Taylor’s new releases and am not sure if I would recognize one of her songs if it hit me in the face. I don’t understand comments about someone’s creative work that contain the phrase, “I wanted it to be….” We can’t critique or enjoy something based on that premise, but we can enjoy it (or not) based on what it is. Just my two cents.

I am reading You’d Look Better as a Ghost by Joanna Wallace She would get a regular iced to hot latte depending on the weather if she were out and about but at home she’s got the darkest cold brew in her fridge 🤔 … and possibly a human head in her fish tank 🤷🏻‍♀️

I ended up having to DNF Lore of the Wilds, I just could not get into it 🙈 I heard there is a twist at the end and tried to push through to get to the twist and I found I didn't care enough so it got returned to the library 😂

As a non-american, the laughing gas confuses me. Is it a painkiller? Do they make you high? You get FLAVOURS!? We get painful needles that numb you and thats all 😂
