I don't think that works. They just "pretend" to work. The actual "hardwork" and "innovations" are done by non-chaturs. The chaturs do only the mediocre work (mediocre engineers, mediocre doctors (who you don't want to go to), mediocre managers (who you don't want to work under), mediocre politicians (who has no vision at all and loot your tax only) and so on.

When the movie came out... I didn't understand Hindi. Years later I saw it with English subtitles. It was funny. Today I know Hindi. And this is way more hilarious when you know the language.😂
Not sure of blind 'ratta' but chatur's way of networking and being a 'yes' man or licking boots of your teachers or seniors in workplace 100 percent certainly works far more in real world than being truly talented or knowledgable in ones field. I faced this many times in my career companies leaderships simply love boot lickers
No one movies can't defeat the Three ideots on the basis of motivational movie still now in bollywood. It's a part of masterpiece movie such as acting by Amir Khan mainly. I guarantee that this movie will not be old after the thousands of year also.

When i was young i laughed at silencer. But now after so many years I'm realising Rancho was just a bully. Irrespective of teaching raju what way is right, they had no right of doing that with chatur. This scene broke my heart for chatur. And eventually if you see, chatur ended up much more successful than both the others. He was much better off, and monetarily he was even better off than Rancho. They both wanted different things, but chatur was right that that didn't work in real world. Raju and Farhan were still common men and chatur drove luxury cars, houses, etc. Nonetheless noone should need to go through that humiliation and be bullied by the whole college. I don't know how this movie is allowed to do that.
Rancho did right because chatur used to top the exams by distracting others with adult magazines. So Rancho was never a bully but the most humble person in the movie. He helped Milimeter in his education, he also tried to help Joy Lobo, he taught everyone about choosing the right career and how to teach. Later in the movie he opened a school in ladakh for tribal kids. Actually Rancho's words are quite right, I have seen two of my friend getting ultimate success, they never compete with anyone, just loved their subject and succeed. So if you follow chatur's words, you can be at the top of competition but if you follow Rancho's words, you will end competition.
The problem is financial situation. When you are financially weak your first aim becomes to be a good earner and score good but when you have financial stability then you can think about investing into actual learning because at the end you are not going to derive the entire formula but just going to apply it to the question

Only issue in this movie is how they made chatur the bad guy and had the heroes bully him and made him go nuts for no reason. How are we supposed to cheer for them for bullying?
Someone saying maturity is when you realise that Chatur's way of hard work and dedication work in real world actually he is partially right, even Chatur was also succeeded in movie as well and showing his success to Raju and Farhan but the success achieved by the way of hard work and imagination and dedication of ranachhod Das is still unmachable❕Actually the ranachhod Das aka Funsuk wangdu character is inspired by real life scientist of India Sonam wangchuk and contribution he made for India 🇮🇳and to society can't be compensated by Money !!!❤️🌏
