Chauvet DJ new RFC-XL remote H9 IP X4 / white sleeves/ How to link RFC remote to Freedom Par 

Thank you so much for this my property just received 2 sets of 6 of these and the XL remotes and I couldn't for the life of me figure out via the instructions how to pair them with my lights

**Update**... Sweetwater was kind enough to send me a new RFC-XL remote and it worked 1000% better immediately after I synced it. The remote I showed in the video was clearly defective and the new one works exactly as you would expect. Just sharing the update. Thanks.

Having the same problem with the buttons. Thank you for all of this info. How they don’t include this info in the instructions is beyond me.

So…the newest set of these lights I just received have a new firmware version on them. (Version 2.0). So the only way to get my previous 8 lights updated is to ship them back to Chauvet. What a strange and complicated way to do things…Every time there is an update they need to be shipped back… surprised nobody thought of that when they were designed?
