Damn, dj's who can sync up any kind of lighting to their music are so underrated. Solid setup and great effects. Really dramatic for something so simple
Great job!!! Did you create a scene for the Moving heads shutter control to Auto BPM to get the strobe in sync with the Beat, and then change the various moving head scenes and color scenes for most of the show?
I just posted a brand new lighting show with my upgraded fixtures. Check it out at: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VsAMgIdKG-4.html Don't forget to subscribe!
Great job !! I'm a new user of quickdmx, it is very hard to understand how you have creat this show... Make you a tutorial? lol sorry for my bad english
Nice! I just ShowXpress and found your video. Love how your lights move and strobe. Where did you find out how to program the midi controller to work with ShowXpress? I don't know how to do that yet. Subscribed. :)
Can you do another video like this, but with another camera, so you can put a small video in the corner of the screen to show what you are doing on the MIDI pad at the same time? Still working with ShowXpress, trying to figure out how to do some of the strobing effects you did here. This is a great video! Each time I watch it, I see something new I want to try. :)
In my showxpress setup, I have movements and colors for moving lights. I have for example, a figure 8 movement created with generator as a button, then I have colors as other buttons. If I select a color, then the movement then it works. But if I want to change colors while doing the movement, I have to turn off the movement, switch colors, then re-enable the movement. If I don't do this, the color switches but the movement stops and I have to re-enable it. How do I set it up so that the movement continues through color changes?
+Dakoolguy111 When you create your movement make sure all your other channels are disabled. The same goes with the colours. Make sure all the channels except the colour are disabled. My guess is that you have a channel activated but at 0 on one of your scenes
+Matt Butler for some lights I buy name brand lighting and for others I buy non-brand. It depends on the fixtures and each option has its advantages and disadvantages.
Hey! Could you please tell me how you created a color fade from one to the other in the software??? No one will tel me how to create the fade in the software? I know how to build scenes but cannot figure out the color fades
The moving heads have a built in color scroll effect. You can also create color fades with RGB fixtures using the generator. Lots of tutorials on RU-vid, I would start there.
Moving heads start at about $300ish for basic one all the way up to 2K+ ADJ and Chauvet are good entry/mobile DJ lights For the most part they all do the same thing. Pan, tilt, colors (usually 7+white), strobe, and gobos. Blizzard makes some high end lights and so does Elation.
