Just like the first and second episodes of Ces in the City I liked this one because of the places CITC brought us to, to experience virtually. Never been to Ilocos Sur but I definitely have Vigan and the rest of Northern Luzon in my bucket list. Not unlike Ms. Drilon's "mixed feelings" for the evident contradiction between (former) Gov. Chavit Singson's love for nature reflected in his own Nature Resort and Zoo, and his explicit passion in hunting precious feral animals, of which stuffed remains line up the walls of his museum like freakish trophies, I, too, have mixed feelings on the interviewee's perceived personality against his actual character, if there is indeed a significant difference. No doubt he has charisma befitting that of a veteran of Philippine politics for close to 50 years now. He definitely is adept at handling questions fielded at him, even the ones that are asked casually but bear a hint of controversy based on his personal history - CD: What are you most afrraid of? CS: Babae, kakatakot magalit ang babae. Flashback: A former partner, mother of a few of his children, sued Chavit Singson after he allegedly beat her up, together with her lover at the time.
