Swival seats make a huge difference in having seating options for the back. You can make some using wheel bearing hubs. Consider painting or staining your wood tool box. You can get led lights for an rv to install as dome lights for when you want it fully bright. Also you can get a spare tire mount that goes into a 2" hitch receiver. If the trans goes out; just swap in a rebuilt one or consider doing a manual swap if you prefer that.

The transformation in this episode is remarkable! I think the “murder van” is actually becoming a place people would WANT to spend their last moments. Well done, sir!

I like keeping the utility. I built out a van halfway between this and a "van life" van, and really like the ability to remove the bed and move a motorcycle. The bed can stay in and move boards below. Then, I put the furniture back in and it has a fridge, toilet, etc.

that sounds like a pretty good set up... I really like driving it and keeping it somewhat minimalist allows me to do whatever i want

thanks man... its very true. i have been dreading this van project for years... bur for whatever reason I just got hot on it one day and had a blast... now its back on the road after sitting in my yard for ages and i love driving it

i did not see one in the original 86 van wiring (where the doors came from) and they seem to be working fine and have loosened up. But if you have a part number or style for folks in the future add it here
