On episode 1 of Lost in Koh Samui, Thailand VLOG, we drive from Khao Lak to Donsak and jump on the Seatran ferry to Koh Samui Island and checked into our cheap budget-friendly Airbnb beach house for $110 a night. After settling in we went to check out the nightlife at The LOST Beach Bar a popular expat hangout for a drink where we ran into popular RU-vidr Chris Parker of "Retired Working For You" channel and cut a rug with DJ Simon Solo on the turntables. Samui Plus model opened up in mid July for all international travel, so get that plane ticket and travel again!

Maenam is one of the best kept secrets in Samui - not super busy even in high-high peak season BC (before covid) It's also the best beach in the north to swim in.. Hope to meet you while you're here!

I couldn’t agree more, absolutely loved it there!…. We will have to grab a beer next time, I’m back in Phuket. I had to rush home because they closed phuket on August 3rd 🤷🏼‍♂️

Cool, thanks for not wearing masks with the recent spike from night clubs adding 100 + cases to the island. As long as the video looks cool, that’s the main thing

I have been fully vaccinated and have had a covid test before entering and leaving the island. Also as the vdo shows this was no rave or big party, it was a small group of 6 people, all vaccinated all friends, we were no where near other groups of strangers and we were there for food and drinks, how do you eat and drink at a restaurant with a mask on?. asking for a friend. Cheers

Its a shame that these people purporting to promote the country (Thailand) yet can't be bothered to learn the pronunciation of the place names - 8" 15" CHONG MOON beach, wtf is that? Perhaps he means Cheung Mon !!

Thai language is not the easiest to pronounce and very easy to misread, furthermore where do we learn to say Cheung Mon?, most likely one of our/their mates told them this is Chong Moon beach. I have lived in Thailand 12 years and I still often mispronounce Thai words, especially locations that are not very familiar to me… Ask a Thai person living in America to pronounce any city, town correctly, 99% will fail but we don’t need to put them down for it as we understand what they meant.
