Did you spot the man wearing bunny ears?
Wow I just love the variety of Japanese food and everything I wanted to try was not disappointing.
The food is really affordable and I love going to the combini's to discover something new everyday.
A compilation of lots of sights I have come across and looking around in grocery stores and enjoying a day out in Tokyo with no real agenda.

Nice views from the train ride. History. The food, ! I'll just take 1 of each please! No rain on holiday! Everything looks good! Marketing of the food and packaging it expert. The melon, has to be a large difference, just using everything else as a ruler. 🤔 Yummy, 1 of each please! Again, 1 of each, the marketing and packaging it expert! I'm hungry just watching! Cher, I so admire your creativity to build a meal from bits bought here and there. Do they have good recycling for all that packaging? I hope the peach coke was nice and refreshing once you got it cooled! ~ Sandra

Sandra, there is so much variety in picking out bits and pieces for a nice variety meal. Plus it is so cheap for me and healthy. I just checked the CAN to YEN and it is very good exchange. I got a Wise card and loaded my Yen onto that. It was very easy and they hardly charge anything at all for exchange. It's just like a debit card and you can tap and pay for everything. ( I do have a link in my description if you're interested. I like to be well organised before I leave the country} They do have excellent recycling here as I have watched a lot of videos. They are very strict in household recycling and it has to basically perfect before they will take it away. I do really admire the Japanese for being very specific about it. The peach coke did taste very delicious and even warm but I did cool it down later haha. I feel so drawn to Japan and I will be heading back there next year. Not sure if I could last a winter there as I am not used to such cold snowy weather and I think that would restrict what I want to do. My focus has shifted from my regular gardening and worms for now to really embracing and wanting to know as much as I can about Japan. I even downloaded Duolingo to help me learn some words and sentences. I had the best holiday there. ☺️💗🌋🏯Cheryl

Oh it really is Peggy. I just say go for it. You have nothing to lose but gain adventure and experiences like no other. I always said I don't want to turn 60 and not done anything in my life. Time and tide wait for no man. If no one wants to go then I shall go alone. x🩷☺️🐼🦍Cheryl

Nice, shopping for lunch is okay for you, Coke $1.20 nearly is cheap for 700ml. Do they have Mc Donald’s about? Just curiosity?

I couldnt believe the price of the coke! They do have Maccas but i didnt want to eat that as I wanted to really try as much of the japanese food as I could. I did see a KFC and a Burger King. Which I am glad they don't have many of them around because 'when in Japan" you just want to eat Japenese 😀😀
