Now this is where it goes down on the backline Reptile because of how insane the skill cards this axie have. Chomp with Tiny Swing is such a great combo, stun debuff effect from Chomp, followed up by Tiny Swing which deals massive damage and ignores opponent's shield because of the Chomp's stun effect and Tiny Swing's huge damage if used on late rounds (after round 4). Branch Charge is a great card also that deals massive damage and gives you decent shield. It is also a great card against a backline RPD class too. It may not get the 20% crit chance if chained or comboed with a plant card in the late rounds because we only have plant cards on our plant tank (which are Bidens and Carrot Hammer) but it also does its work and last but not the least, Vine Dagger, a 0 cost Reptile card which gives double shield if comboed with a plant card. We may not get the advantage effect from this card but it also does its work, 30 shield from a 0 cost card is such an insane stat.
#SpittingBARs would be my choice mostly cause the late game damage you can put out. speeding up the bird and being the first to do major damage during end game when its goes to 1 on 1
#SpittinBARs for me an aqua with a tiny catapult & pumpkin would be hard to kill, bird will deal risky, jinx & morale combined for a kill by the reptile thorny attack & a anti debuff for the team... Nuttier than a fruitcake but packs a very serious punch every round.

#MerryGoRound Rounds 1-3: Can easily take down the frontline Plant/Reptile/Dusk using Merry, Risky Fish, Arco, Nut Cracker, Little Branch combos (whichever is in your hand). If Aquas, you can use Tiny Turle, Green Thorns, Goldfish, Risky Fish. A 4-5 cards combo will do. The Plant can survive into 4th round, it has very good shield stats cards and can heal up using Mosquito which will help it to be tanky. On a 2v2 situation, if facing Beast/Bug/Mech, you can use all cards in the Aqua Axie which is most likely to strike first. And can follow up with Little Branch to sure the kill. If Aqua/Bird/Dawn, you can use Reptile cards especially Tiny Dino in rounds 5 & up (very good stats!). If Plant/Reptile/Dusk, you have Little Branch, Arco, Nut Cracker, and RISKY FISH to take down maybe in 1 round with 4 cards. On 1v1, against Aqua/Bird/Dawn, you can slowly take them down using the Reptile Cards, especially Tiny Dino (can deliver 130 dmg. For Plant/Reptile/Dusk, abuse Little Branch even without combo or chain. 125 atk is so huge. And combo it with Tiny Cards. Overall, I love the unique Plant Tank, the mid-Aqua damage dealer, and the backline Stunner Reptile. You can change the position of Aqua and Reptile. The Aqua can 1v1 against pure Bird/Aqua, you can take advantage of Goldfish and Arco to boost up its speed. And the atk of the 4 cards are above 100 which is excellent for OTK!
#spittinBARS first its cheaper then marry go round team 2 you have aqua which have 55 hp pluse october treat and tiny catapuit to reflect back range danage and has both tail slap and vegetal Bite 3 your reptile has zero enery card which is refresh which will remove all debuffs and will give you extra sheild and it has disarm and allergic reaction card which is good for plants and reptile
And your bird has high speed pluse aqua card and beast card the most important part s eggbomb which will apply aroma that will attack this bird instead of your reptile if your reptile is low on hp and you apply this card so your reptile will live for the next round so i think this is the best team

#MerryGoRound A healing plant with a decent amount of shield, the mid aqua deals with enemy tanks pretty efficiently although it needs 2 speed ups to be faster than a bird. backline deals with aquas and terminators pretty efficiently which is what most teams below 2k have for their backline.
You can't even find that plant anymore, any suggestions for a replacement? wow, no aqua as well...what the hell is happening with the marketplace? Some dude bought out half of the marketplace and is selling axies for a lot more. I was just about to finally get into axie and I can't find some 2k+ recommended decks for 0.19 ETH anymore. Every card that was 0.065-0.07 is now 0.09+
Yeah its tough out there at the moment. Maybe wait for the patch to go live, some people might quickly try and dump "useless axies" and in there might lie some opportunities
#MerryGoRound would be my bet between the two. Consistency of well-rounded teams is better than outplay potential imo. Also, i really liked that plant with mosquito bite. It offers so much survivability without much setback. SpittinBars is a good team but for me it is a bit linear in terms of win condition.
So keen to witness the climb with this type of team. Pretty excited to see creative ways to beat the purebloods that everyone else always hypes up so much. 😆
Budget axie can sometimes push you to higher ranks and can deal some damage I have experience playing axie to but it was my cousins account I was I can play more it's fun and can help out my family
#MerryGoRound for me is the better one. First and foremost, a beautiful name for a team. Second, the plant will give enough time, distraction and destruction to enemy team to setup your midlaner and backlane. Compared to the spittinbars, mid and back can survive 1 full backdoor from a bird or aquas if timed perfectly. MerryGoRound is also more flexible as it has all cards to counter beasts which is mostly on 1100+ mmr, and can handle termis, reptiles and backdoors on 1500+mmr. The backlane here can always have a high shield and a stun as it has a zero card. Although energy gain is an issue, the tanky-ness of the front and its carrot hammer if timed perfectly is more than enough incentive as a set-up to late game
#SpittinBars is my choice because the aqua have a better energy control with that tail slap and vegital bite, it also have bidens for more extra shield at 0cost energy, the fact that it's aqua is good because we all know that the beast are weak against aqua he so won't be able to kill it instantaneously plus it has a reflect damage to range so bird will be afraid to attack the aqua as well, the reptile on the other hand is so tanky plus a great damage specially that -spd card/allergic reaction combo that can potentially outspeed some aquas and deals a massive damage, it also has a refresh, similar to a bidens but it is for teammates, and it doesn't really matter as long as it gives an extra bit of a shield and it will activate the chomps passive easily (a budget terminator). Lastly, the bird have a risky fish and rampant howl combo that can easily obliterate plant type axies, ill omen is also good so that the enemies axie specially beast won't crit finally, the eggbomb can help the frontline to survive and its good for when like your axie is gonna die within 1 hit, you can use this to prevent while also making sure that the bird will not die because it is predicted that the enemy will not use alot of cards just to kill the front line, also the shield of the bird's ability is decently high meaning that it really have a chance of surviving after using the eggbomb
#MerryGoRound that team is actually great. Great to see teams that have lots of ways to win rather than standard AAP team, the fastest wins. Plant with a heal and considerable shield plus carrot hammer that can also be chained with your reptile’s branch charge. The aqua is actually better than most aquas. That aqua can easily win 1v1 with other aquas if it has the energy. And against plants, it’s kinda awkward using your aqua to damage the plant since the damage is reduced, but this aqua’s kit can easily kill a plant. And lastly the reptile, always a fan of backline with a zero cost card. It can be useful to remove a stun and use as a combo for the stun. And the reptile has awesome damage to. With the branch charge and tiny dino you can easily kill aquas or birds. Plus the double shield from vine dagger is great.
#MerryGoRound I think this team is more balance in dealing with all kinds of team. I like how the beast cards are spread through out the team. I think the ripper reptile having a branch charge can really make alot of damage on terminator and double aqua. I also like the mid aqua having 2 beast card that can take down tanks that are usually plants

#MerryGoRound is my choice for this budget axies, for me, eliminating the enemy plant is key to winning the game, combo it with the Merry Legion card skill and a free to cast back part would make it chonky and hard to kill, also, it has more advantage against AAP opponents, beasts can be easily eliminated by the aqua, and the reptile can easily 2v1 enemy aquas since "say hello to my little reptile" has chomp which would negate an energy from the opponent given he/she has no 0 cost cards.
#SpittinBARs I think is the better team. It is all-rounder team for sure! The synergy of the 3 axies is good. I love the tail slap and serious from the front aqua, that's a monster energy gainer, and don't forget about the armor! The reptile is also versatile, having the mint for a zero cost card and awesome armor plus the incisor+thorny combo! The bird is the icing on the top. It really ties the team with it's ridiculous damage and outplay potential. Having also the jinx synergizes with the thorny of the reptile! AWESOME TEAM OVERALL!

U got sustainable plant with damage and high shield,heal ,mid lane that is fast and have beast cards to kill plant/reptiles/dusk and u have a reptile backlane that is like a beast in end game who can demolish a terminator lol. The problem with the other team,u have fast front that generates energy for u but can be stolen by opponents plant. Mid lane is solid and back lane bird is good especially the jinx debuff to prevent beast to have crits. Overall,merrygoround team had the complete team. Got a great healing tank and have no weaknesses against any class,thanks to aqua with beast cards.
#MerryGoRound for me has the higher chance in getting to 2k MMR among these two budget axie teams. The reason being, it has a higher sustainability on its plant frontliner with the heal from mosquito and shield from merry, and bidens. Also, the team is well equipped with beast damage cards that when played in chain has a higher burst potential and can get through the opponents tank easily. Having the sustain from the plant and beast cards, it ensures that the game can be brought to the late game and ensures that the tiny dino of the reptile backline would be saved for the later rounds and have its increase in damage! ;) When it comes to 1v1 situation, I think the reptile backliner has a higher chance in winning against termis and aqua/bird back lines since it also has beast damage and the tiny dino that can wipe out aqua/bird back lines. In conclusion, Merry Go Round team for me is well balanced and has its synergy when it comes to card compositions making it capable to climb up through the ranks!
#MerryGoRound Plant is still effective tank specially with Merry and Mosquito for keeping it alive compared to the other team's aqua front. The Rep backline also is well rounded having tiny dino vs aquad and a 0 cost card vs termis
I think #MerryGoRound is the better team. This team is quite balanced for it's cost, it has plant, beast, aqua cards that will help dealing with the damage. The Plant can shield up, it also have a bidens that will help this team deal with all the poison team out there, if ever two backline axie got backdoored it can be a closer because it has a healing ability and bidens to have some shield and remove stun. Second, the classic aqua that deals damage and manipulate it's speed. This will help the team in dealing damage in the mid game. Lastly, the star of the team, the reptile with lots of fire power in the late game. It also has a zero cost card that will help in dealing with possible stuns in the late game or 1v1 situation. This team can really climb the leaderboard.
#SpittinBARs for me has the higher chance in getting to 2k MMR among these two budget axie teams because the amount of sustainable energy gain constantly by stealing and disarming the enemy would be better off in the late game and also the composition of the team is surprisingly unique and not many players would know how to counter that combo. Also, the way the you can play the debuff card and use a high attack card to deal more damage to an axie would be a very easy way to get an axie down early on. Plus like the "cherry on top of the cake" we have the egg bomb that would save the aqua and redirect all the attack to itself while the aqua can survive and do damage for the round or heal up and save itself for the next round as well.

#MerryGoRound this team is the best. Because it really maintain the strategies you wanted. The plant sustains its Health while gaining energies about first rounds then the aque at the middle can delete the plant fronline enemy instantly. That axie team is great because most of the players/scholars uses AAP with plant axie in frontline.
#SpittinBARs Thats is my choice. - sustainable energy - reflect for protecting and also it makes the enemy unsure how to play - the combo that you play debuf card with card that deals more dmg to debuffed enemy - and last the egg bomb that is like knight in shiny armor to save the litte aqua.

#spittinnBARs my reason is that its a bot more flexible than the MerryGoRound Build since it has aroma and also it has energy steal and production with its frontline aqua. Oh and also you should make you mic volume louder than the BG music, it was hard to listen to you voice in the vid.

I'll pick #SpittinMerryGoBars 😁✌ Nah kidding aside I'll pick #SpittinBARs mainly because of it's outplay potential plus the reptile at the middle is a balance of offense, defense & utility.
I would personally go with #SpittingBARs due to its very unconventional cards which I think a lot of players in the below 2k range will not think of having as their opponent. It will generally take them by surprise. The aqua has good energy generation, added to it is the defense of tiny catapult, allowing it to counter ranged damage. The mid reptile could be a good precursor to the bird who will do the main burst damage using its card (which I believe can 1 shot a lot of axies. 4 cards turn for this bird will not be a problem due to the energy gained using the aqua in front. All in all, I choose this team for its unconventional cards and limitless play (and surprise) potential.
#SpittinBARs my reason for this is that bird with eggbomb can make outplays and the team synergy of this team is amazing. Seeing the skills of this team makes me feel excited playing it. I'll research more plays that I can make if ever I win this team. Good luck guys

Both of the line ups are very unique and I think it has a potential of climbing into 2k MMR but the only problem is if it will up against a line up with some stealing energies and #SpittinBARs has the upper hand having energy stealing/generating cards. It is important to maintain your energy in order to have a good combination of cards, leads to a victory. Also, many opponents especially in the lower tier have that stealing energy line ups so maybe your up against it frequently. But that's not mean that you will automatically lose, it will depends on the situation and the given cards .. That's all I can say coz everyone in here says all of the good informations about the team 😅 ..

#SpittinBars I think this team will have a long run doing the challenge. My reason of thinking so because this 3 axies have the synergy and abilities that can dumpster enemies if your tricky enough using them. The plant can be buffed by the reptile for sure and will stall the enemies to let the backlines charge up for the damage. I really like like this tricky team composition that you have here. I can't wait some live streams or videos featuring this axies while destroying the enemies. It will be good if you get the gist of this team composition to bring their full potential.
