what impresses me most about the folks preparing these bento boxes isn’t so much the quality of the food (though that is unbelievably good) it’s how they prepare and finish them as if they were being sold for many times this - whatever our $$$ situation - we all deserve respect - many blessings for doing this 🙏
This is insane if it is only sold for $2 a bento. I understand the owner is probably returning what he/she could to the society and selling affordable bento to the locals. Good job!

Love it...kudos to the owner and thank you for sharing...one of these days when I come back to Japan I hope I could go and buy and taste there food...home cooking...comfort food for sure....don't mind to eat their creation everyday....night and day...fantastic...these people are generous people for me it is not only about profit but service to thy neighbor and mankind! God bless these people I hope they get wet and they propagate into more good person like them...hahaha!
Even an order of McDonalds 20 pieces chicken nuggets costs more than the priciest one on their menu. If I live there, I wouldn't even make my meals. I'd try one everyday until I get tired of it.

This is an absolutely amazing thing what the owner is doing. However the price reflects a much darker environment and situation that is happening in Japan, and maybe also very soon all over the world in more other nations. Deflation and Inflation are 2 processes on different sides of the same coin that ultimately hurts the poor and working class people. $2 bentos in a nation like Japan is reflective of wage stagnation and or wage depreciation for general masses. It is insane to even see this in a nation like Japan, unimaginable.
Foreigners say that Japan is not productive because things are too cheap 🤔🙄 Americans will sell for several times the price . But I like Japanese people like this 👍💯

Isn't it Japanese? The menu includes hamburg steak bento, Japanese fried chicken bento and chicken nanban bento, pork katsu bento, fried shrimp bento, and Korokke bento all of which are Japanese dishes. There're no Chinese cuisine.
