Cheap Bicycle Rack for Truck + RV! 

Solid inexpensive setup! Good call. So, I'm in the same boat as you on my thoughts with this topic and am breaking down to get a cap for my truck bed. With the amount of money some of us spend on our bikes, I want my bikes out of the elements while traveling with a 'feeling' of better security. The bonus for me will be the generator, solo stove, and other camping gear will be relatively protected and out of the elements as well. Down side, I know how much I'm fixin' to throw down to put a cap on my 8ft bed.....not fun

We had a truck bed cap when towing our Airstream. Key is to get side windows that open fully for equipment access. Do not recommend using the rear of your Airstream. We know from experience that the vibration will break the carrier or your bikes. Good luck with your solution search.
