Hey first state!! I’m going to my beach house in southeast Delaware and I’d love to escort you into the community so you can go fishing there! In the community, there are 10+ ponds. Each pond has had a 4+ pounder come out of it. The bigger ponds have had 6+ pounders, and one of the ponds have had 3, 8 pounders pulled out. You need to be a resident or a resident guest to fish there and I’d love to bring you and possibly get you a new pb! My favortie thing about firststate is he is truly genuine and humble. He isnt like these other fishing youtubers. He makes legit fishing scenarios and doesnt just fish one spot.

Yo Ollie's is one of my favorite stores! Unfortunately the last time I went they didn't have any casting combos so all I got was a chatter bait. Hopefully this year you'll reach half a million subs! Keep up the good work!
Also, i tried a fly made with a size 8 hook. Sadly cant cast far unless you put tention on line and pitch it. No luck with fly. I put a split shot 7 inches above where fly is tied to cast further and help suspend off the bottom. Next time i should be good with using the fly to get a little more distance in cast. 😊
I fished with fake leeches for the first time yesterday, and had Northern Pike jumping on my hook like mad. They were the gulp 5" leech. Had a fun time with them. Love the vids dude! Keep up the good work!
About leeches: They are a good generic bait, much like a night crawler...you can catch anything on them. I have used them under a bobber. I'm sure you can go on the bottom as well...just use as you would a night crawler. You can hook them one time, just behind the sucker. The good thing compared to night crawlers is they stay on the hook..and they give a lot more movement. I have caught multiple fish using the same leech. I have caught : crappies, bass, bluegills, and walleyes with them, lakes, ponds, and the river. I am in the midwest, Iowa.
Hell yeah man. I have gotten tons of lures from Ollie's. Last time they had a bunch of livetarget lures. Swimbaits, baitball crank baits... lucky craft stuff.
I literally just cleaned up at Ollies by my house and caught 4 of the biggest bass i ever caught on a red storm deep rattlin flat wart crankbait I love Ollies !!!! it's alot of out of season stuff from the big stores and Ollies get them !!
2:45 that the Canadian Classics a red devil, 5 of diamonds and a laker runner. That last spoon is what lake ontario charters run but purple on one side n hammer pattern. 2 pike spoons and laker spoon.
5.99 is pretty much the usual price for a smithwick rogue. It's a killer lure. Especially for cold water bass and pike. And the first day of fall is Sept. 22
Ollie's is the shit. They didn't have a lot of fishing stuff, BUT... they had a bunch of mustad hooks and line for like a dollar. They had like 30 different soft plastics. They had a giant box full of poppers and cranks for like a dollar. I have even seen lew's rod&reel combos.
Watch Ollies as they are very well known to have lures priced 200%+ over regular retail but put a clearance sticker on it. 5 lures lately were nearly triple retail.
I found some frogs at Ollie's that looked really nice so I bought a few of them. I wouldn't dare buy a rod there, they look terrible. But the lures don't look that bad, I'm gonna try them out.
