The McKillans wide mouth cannon also now comes standard out of the box with a 1.1mm orifice. It's definitely seen a price hike. It's now a $70 cannon in my region and that's before taxes. At that price I think I'd look at MJJC first. No doubt this is a quality item but I no longer view McKillans products like I use to. They have shot up so high in price that I don't default to them like I use to. Good products. Bad pricing lately.
For anybody that gets bummed about the lack of a weighted ball, take the hose with you down to your local hardware store, and there's all sorts of fittings nuts and bolts that will fit around the tube and let you create enough weight to keep the tube weighted at the end and following gravity along with your liquids. Typically I use these circular little rings that have a small Allen screw in the middle to tighten it up against the tube. The only thing to remember is to make sure you get stainless so it's not rusting or doing anything odd sitting in your liquids. Also, most loctite stuff is made to break down with heat so you can take something as simple as a culinary torch and heat it up for a few, then unscrew it with relative ease lots of times. Even loctite doesn't always result in a perfect seal so they need their product to have some sorta path to removal in case it needs to be done. Personally I'm a fan of just using some rectorseal #2 on any threads and calling it a day when I put it all back together.
DUDE....I purchased the MJJC foam cannon on your site on MEMORIAL DAY...and it arrived today 6/2.!!! Whoever is in charge of your shipping and fullfilment is a BEAST!!! Thanks for all the education and product info. Blessings
Man that's actually a pretty good price! I been watching your videos, and I have learn a lot from you and im even think about getting in the detailing business ❤️
Killah videos. You're my go to when im interested in a detailing product, I search it in your videos and i can usually find it. Also discovered alot of awesome products on your feed. Keep up the good work. New to this subject but been working on cars most of my life. Really appreciate and respect your opinions. 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
I am new to the business and trying to start up a car detailing business on the side and came across Josh's channel. Since i subscribe i really enjoy his videos-I like how he tests/reviews and it shows that he wants to help you out on making decisions. Very informative.
Hafa Adai from Guam! I am thoroughly enjoying your work with this channel. I have been able to make really great and readily informed purchases with your help. Thank you again for your time and effort I hope to be able use your information again in the soon future.
Fingers crossed to win this giveaway. Really impressed with its performance relative to the MJJC Pro foam cannon. Would love to have this foam cannon in my arsenal. 🙌🏼
I purchased the MJJC foam cannon from your website and I love that thing. This cannon is extremely impressive for the price in my opinion. I would love if you would do a review on some of turtle wax’s hybrid solutions line. I value your knowledge and would love your opinion on it. Thanks Josh!
Yeah buying the best for cheaper on his website is a no brainer. That thing has lasted almost 100 washes with no decline in performance. Once i see it, its only a matter of replacing the filters.
Using the ceramic hybrid for past couple season and it last me maybe a year. Nice deep shine and like how easy to use. Have the other products from that line and they are ok but the ceramic is really nice. Not the big fan of the wash
The McKillians seems just as good as MJJC! Thanks for posting and I just recently bought a whole pressure washer setup with the upgrades thanks to you.
Great video Josh. Nice foam cannon for the price...Appreciate you reaching out and helping me get my previous order from your website store squared away.. Have a great weekend coming up.
I would love to see a video of how a professional detailer washes a Harley. Specifically a Harley because of all the crevices, engine cooling fins, exposed air filter, etc. Most other bikes are all pretty well closed up with panels like a car. What products, techniques, etc you use would be REALLY helpful for a lot of us. I have found some videos of Harley riders doing "professional detail" jobs but I don't put a lot of stock in them being professional. None of the good detailing channels have any motorcycle washing videos...
Nice review. Your videos got me to order a 1.1 orifice. But then I discovered my foam cannon that came with my craftsman power washer is all plastic. So I ordered a new gun. New gun didn't work because the wand isn't your typical 1/4" connection. I tried buying adapters from home depot. No dice. Finally I searched for a foam cannon with a craftsman mount and found something on Amazon that comes with 6 different connectors and 2 different orifices. $17 and I'm pretty happy. The bottle isn't shaped well, and the fill hole is small, but I'll take what I can get. Thanx man
Thanks for your direction, I have updated all my parts to your recommendations and will be trying it out this weekend on my New Bronco that I finally got.
New to the detail game starting to see sometimes the more budget friendly tools work just as good or better than the high dollar ones thanks to your reviews
Another great video! I have appreciated all of your videos and gained a ton of detailing knowledge from your recommendations. It’s good to get recs on quality items at budget prices when you’re on tight budget. Thanks Josh!
Thanks for the videos after the vid you made of the amazon basics with the 1.1 orifice wont ever dought a inexpensive foam cannon again this might be my next cannon.
I am just learning about foam cannons. This looks like a best, "bank for the buck" solution for the car wash DIY vehicle owner like me. I'd sure use it!
Appreciate all your tests and thought-out explanations. I like the wide mouth and plastic on plastic of this one. Also, that price is hard to beat. My old cheapo from Amazon is a brass on plastic and skinny neck. Makes filling soap a pain having to always search for a funnel. I'm gonna have to check this one out. Thanks again.
I really enjoy your intricate reviews and how you focus on the details! I do detailing on the side and I’m thinking about starting doing detailing full time.
keep up the great work Josh. !! ..the 50 foot uber hose is a great additon and the 1.1 mm orifice makes all the difference..thank you-Subscribed for a while now and look fwd to watching your videos and helping your algorithm!!
I'm about to start my mobile detail business and I've been watching all your videos so I can make the best decisions to buy my products. Really good detail information and thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Hello, first comment in your channel. I have been looking an alternative cheaper version of the MJJC I hope this is the one. The test of this foam cannon looks very promising. I love your channel and I decided to subscribe to your channel today. Best wishes and keep up the good work
For $35.00, I think it’s a great unit. I own the MJJC foam cannon also. I plan on purchasing this foam cannon for a backup. Thanks for the video!! Keep’em coming!!
I think for the price you really can't beat it. I'd love to know how long these cheaper cannons last. I can't imagine a good way to test longevity but for 35 bucks you could get a summer out of it and it'll have paid for itself.
I enjoy your videos, I have tried a lot of products you recommend because of your detailed description and your time explaining and showing results. Thank you.
So glad I found your channel a couple of months ago. Enjoy your videos and your opinion. Not a bad budget foam cannon. I have been slowly building up my supplies for detailing my 3 cars. Thanks Josh.
this looks a good choice for a DIY`er that. only takes care of my own vehicle. I live in the north east, so, winter temperatures and snow, cut back on how much use I would get out of a foam cannon. this seems like a better alternative to the units costing over $80 for me.
Great content bro; I bought this unit about 3 weeks ago. Pretty good product. Haven’t switched the orifice yet. It will arrive tomorrow thanks to this video. Appreciate it! Keep up the great content!
I literally just ordered one of these in a package deal with the McKillans stubby sprayer last week from Amazon. Haven’t gotten it yet but thanks to your video I’m REALLY looking forward to using it now.
