Bentley intense is a 10/10 for sure. That being said... I don't like it. Not my cup of tea. Nonetheless with the longevity, quality etc. for that price, it got to be a 10/10.
@@carrotwater4333 great but chill on the sprays, only a few and know that the opening is a citrus bomb to alot of ppl, after a bit it smells just fine tho
Bentley for men and toy boy are both incredible and 10/10 to my nose, whereas individuel seems so boring and synthetic sweet to me. I think out of the bunch toy boy wins the overall prize and is one of my favorites
Toy boy is amazing. But I feel like the reason people don’t buy it because of the bottle and fragile masculinity. Yes i said it. Rose is associate as feminine so men don’t want to smell like it
@@izzatirfan1995 I think it’s solely because of the bottle, because honestly, who wants that atrocity in their collection. Personally I absolutely enjoy rose fragrances, MFKs Oud satin mood, Rasasi Shuhrah or Perles de Lalique for example. I do agree with the original comment that Individual just smells boring
Omar your content I must say makes much more sense than some other reviewers I see on here. Keep bringing more, fresh new ideas. Toy boy definitely is nothing like anything I placed my nose on before however it is 🔥 love it!! Bentley for men though I wouldn’t say it’s perfect 10 either but it’s a lovely scent for some occasions to my nose.
I was a bit suspicious about trusting you before watching this video, but then you started the video with my personal favorite fragrance, I literally yelled out, OK, I'M IN! instant subscribe*
Bentley Intense is 10/10 with regards to its scent, quality and price point etc. Just that it's difficult to be in that kind of classy situation to wear it. The fault lies with the person, not the scent.
Honestly I was on the verge of blind buying toy boy awhile ago then smelt it in a local shop and 🤢 thank god I didn’t I don’t see All the hype around it absolutely nasty like some fragrances I don’t like I can still respect and understand some people may like it…not with toy boy idk how anyone could like it 😂
You have to be a masculine man to wear this leather boozy frag. It's good to wear at night when it's cold when your going out to a bar or club. People buy this stuff thinking Their gonna wear it to school with their metro clothes on lol. Keep that stuff for toy boys
@@daniel-ss1rk Thank you for reaching out Daniel. The opening, to me, had a very unfamiliar note which is bay leaf combined with rum. After 5 minutes the fragance starts to settle down an turns into a very smooth, spicey, leathery, boozy scent. Preferable for cold weather, mature and/or confident men. Not a crowd pleaser since unfortunately most western noses are accustomed to the citrusy sugary designer types perfumes. In my mind, for $35 this is a complete steal.
I got my 100ml bottle of toy boy for 50$ canadian. Definitely worth the price. Super sexy, slightly masculine rose scent. Very long lasting. Well worth the blind buy. Other than presentation its a Perfect 10/10.
MOSCHINO's TOY BOY is amazing and fantastic. I was kind of afraid at first due to many reviews saying it was "too girly" or "too feminine" for men, but I got a lot of compliment both from women and from manly men. It's very unique, elegant and it has a sexy/sensual side to it (which may be what people describe as "feminine") and that's the pink pepper, rose and bergamot notes exploding in a quite subtle yet powerful blend.
That it smells "luxurious" and "very elegant". Both my boss, my dad and some friends have asked me about it and they loved it, but... After they see the bottle is like "Oh... I don't want it anymore". But no one (or at least not in my case) has ever thought about the smell being "femenine" or something more towards "women". A female friend even told me "please, keep wearing that one cuz it's my favourite out of all the one's I've smelled from you" (the others being Chanel fragrances and Dior).@@stevethea5250
Bentley without doubt is pure quality! Not for youngsters though,, Toy boy is more for them..Bentley should have a warning ⛔️ though..DO NOT OVER SPRAY
A great cheapie for me is Davidoff Cool Water Intense. It really projects and last a lot, but I think is discontinued now. Another good one is Halloween Man X and also Ferragamo F Black.
I oversprayed Bentley for men intense around my neck and ended up chocking myself out on it haha! Trust me you don't need more then 2 or 3 sprays with this one. But hard to pull off and probably need a leather jacket in fall/winter would be the best scenario
Thanks for the List, it's such a great starting point for people who just started out. I'll check some of those out for sure :) Edit: Tried the Al Haramain Excellent and it was absolut dogshit... how can you possibly recommend that to anybody?
I fell into the hype and blind bought Bentley intense and hated it. It gave me severe headache and I didn’t like the smell on me. Thought I smelt like an alcoholic. However, I asked others if they liked the smell on me and got very good impressions. So I kept it for months. Let’s just say, it’s one of my most favourite fragrances now. It does smell quite expensive and unique and ultra masculine. Because it’s so strong, maximum 3 sprays is great. Anymore and you will get headache and choke others nearby. However, 2 to 3 sprays, it projects like crazy and smells so good now.
For me 'Moschino Toy Boy', 'A-Men' and 'Armaf sillage' are my Favourites. Especially because I like a bit of woody smell. I recently added 'Prada Black' to my collection....I keep it in my car as an emergency perfume.
i dont give a fuck about the fragrances, but the video images, my god i could almost smell what you were describing, perfectly presented video, still zero fucks about the colognes but the video is excellent
The first time I bought Bentley for man Intense, I sprayed once and returned it. But after another year, when I had many fragrances, I bought it again. Now I really like it. I think BFMI deserves 10/10 just because most people love it. Otherwise, good video.
Great list! Only two I would really disagree with but that's only from my personal perspective. I have Individual and find it a bit boring and slightly synthetic and have Bentley for Men Intense which to me smells amazing, I have received positive reactions to Bentley but even if I had not, it's one I would wear just because I enjoy it. I also might add Mercedes Benz Club Black to my list. Thanks again for another great video.
Mercedes cologne the first one that comes to mind when I think of 10/10 cheapie. It doesn’t have the greatest performance, but it’s cheap and u can reapply and drown in it and smell wise it’s so simple, but so nice.
I would've agreed with you on Bentley the first day that I bought it. My dad swiped it from me and now whenever I smell it. I gotta say it's an absolutely great fragrance. I gotta grab it again.
I think two fragrances that were instant 10/10s to me, are Franck Olivier's OudTouch and OudVanille. Both of them cost me 20 bucks on average and upon asking some of my people as to how much they think they cost and i got prices ranging from 80 up to almost 200. Don't let these cheap bottle designs fool you. These two are downright amazing. Jaipur Homme EDP by Boucheron is the same thing. I think it costs a little bit more but i got the same reaction. Performance on all of these is phenomenal.
@@corc1992 you are 100% 👍 right. I'm from Saudi Arabia and we know better about oriental fragrances specially oud. Frank Oliver oud touch is a clone of Dior Asphahan Oud. Frand Oliver Vanilla oud is a clone of Tom Ford Tabaco Vani . They are 😃 great 👍
From what i've smelled : Bentley Intense Men. : 9/10 Leather smell & sexy. Very manly. But not for youngsters. Shortlisted for next buy because the smell is really unique. Moschino Toy Boy : 8/10 A weird smell but nice .My wife like it so much. I like it too , seriously long lasting as mentioned by omar. Added to my bucketlist. I have : 212 Men : 8/10 Personally My No 1 best scent. A mix of fresh + musky . Sexy and very versatile. Sillage is good. But the longevity is medium for me. If it last like toy boy , i will give it a perfect 10.
I loathe MB individuel. To me it smells like a department store restroom. Whatever Macys or Hudson belk uses to clean their bathrooms. Especially in the nineties.
I would add F Black by Salvatore Ferragmo to this list. It is a cheapie and great scent by Olivier Polge, who is the nose behind many of the great fragrances we love.
I agree on Bentley Intense. I jump on that “Hype train” back when everyone was praising this juice. Bentley Intense was the one I had to resale it. It smells like a homeless person who is trying to wear a fragrance to cover his natural smell😂
I hated Bentley Intense when I bought it. In fact, it made me a little sick. But it grew on me quickly. Perfect scent to wear in a dive or sports bar in the middle of the winter.
I didn’t like the moschino teddy bear one. I have it. It’s weak, skin scent, and boring. I can’t even give it away, nobody likes the smell. Sometimes I wonder about u reviewers. You’re the only one who likes this nasty perfumes. Or are u lying. Same with Encre Noir, I have it, I don’t wear it coz it’s WEAK. It’s a weak skin scent that’s gone in 5 mins. All cheapies are made with cheap ingredients and don’t last. Unless u spray half the bottle on u.
No doubt, i think he is lying he said mont blanc is better then original santal also said armoff is better then silver mountain water . He is definatly lying or he is in the wrong business
Club de nuit gave me a MASSIVE headache the first time I sprayed it on twice. It's obnoxiously strong. I only use half a spray cause it's just too much. It doesn't come off even after showering and stays on your clothes a week later.
Interesting. I love Bentley it's a beast . M B individual no way a 10 out of 10 but subjective. I have frank Oliver oud touch it's only £15 and it's lovely 😍 I would give nautica voyage 10/10.
Immediately lost me on this video!! Bentley Intense is an amazing and intoxicating aroma with great projection , siilage and longevity. I literally find myself tucking my nose under my t-shirt just to inhale that sauce. Secondly this video is entirely subjective! I am happy to hear your thoughts but your process of rating a fragrance over an other will never matter because everyone has a different nose and preferences in scent.
He says as much by stating that these views are his opinions. When it comes to scent, everything is completely subjective, someone may love it and another may hate it, and neither person is wrong, it's just a matter of what they like, their tastes and preferences.
I thought the EXACT same thing with Bentley for men. I blind bought it based on all the hype and was really disappointed. On the bright side, it wasn’t very expensive.
I couldn't ever say Bentley For Man Intense is 10/10. Even though I like it a lot, everybody else I know and have smelled it seems to hate it. Mont Blanc Individuel is a little bit other way around: people around me seem to like it, but I don't really like it.
Just bought alharamain excellent. Just as the name suggests nothing short of excellence. Unique fragrance. Liquid gold. Tried several others before getting this.
Got Encre noir, it seems to be watered down big time, becomes a skin scent very very quickly it lasts pretty long but you really have to put your nose up to it, ive heard other Nathalie Larson frags like Bentely intense also suffer from this lately, its too bad, im looking for a projection and durability beast
Funny you would compare Joop homme wit individual and original santal. Because Pierre Bourdon is behind both Joop and Original Santal. Not sure who’s behind individual.
Wow. Shout out to you for including Al haramain excellent in the video! That is a fantastic scent, lovely floral diffusive masculine slept on unique and kills majority in its price range. Noone really knows about it.
I definitely agreed with the Bentley intense it’s more higher quality fragrance for the price you pay for I did own it bfor but have to say it’s for me personally individual I think it’s over hype Bcus for me personally I didn’t impress me as far the uniqueness and if we are talking about 10/10 we all have to agree include the scent and most off theme are compared to other fragrance out their I think the best off all off the ones you mentioned have to say the toy fragrance is the best one… I think the quality is their gentscent it a great fragrances reviewer just like urself keep the good work and wish you the best on your own fragrance
Salvatore Ferragamo Acqua (not the blu) is the best and cheapest blind buy I've ever bought. £12 better than Versace Pour Homme. Dunhill racing is a 9 too, better than Invictus imo.
Encre noir is not that different to Bentley Men Intense - it's neither wearable in 90 per cent of situations nor sexy. For people who care about compliments, it's not the way to go. Sensitive noses admire the perfumery but that won't get you through the night...
I'm glad Armaf came out with the SMW clone because it's more on the masculine side which I love!...and it definitely has way more longevity than the original 🤙🏾
As someone who travels constantly, Toy Boy's huge bottle is just inconvenient when putting all liquids inside a tiny plastic bag. If this juice was in a smaller bottle I would've bought it a long time ago. Same for Armaf which annoyingly uses 105ml bottles and screws up any carry over baggage plans.
All these fragrances are for newbies in all these kinda lists. Some of these are not very good, I definitely wouldn't recommend. Best saving if you have to and buying a quality fragrance. Btw.. Moschino Toy Boy is the worst fragrance I have ever smelt. If I could give it a - 1/10 I would. I guarantee you'll listen to this guy 👆 over me. I also guarantee if you do you'll come back and say I was right.
CK one BE. I just picked this up for $20. It's smells sorta like YSL La Nuit De L'Homme and Ralph's club. Not the best performer but a really enjoyable scent. Missoni is good, milestones is great, Armaf Sillage is great (do not like SMW).
I agree. Bentley Intense does not smell very good. I put on some Bentley and douse it with Dolce Gabbana The One. The Bentley helps with longevity, which is the downfall of The One.
Said that 3 times in a row when I tried to wear it and washed it off. Try it again and wait 30-60 minutes. Just spray it on your arms first. It’s really an amazing dry down!
From the 90s till now, i get complimented more on Cool Water than anythings else. That should be good news since it's only like $27 a gallon (😂), but i wish my more interesting fragrances got the same compliments.
I agree ref Bentley for Men.. it’s a difficult wear don’t put it on very often much better out there.. Mont blanc individual is also very average.. just not sure what the attraction is..
The evolved sense of smell or olfactory preference is very subjective. A smell or fragrance cannot be broadly labelled as Good or Bad. Apart from our inbuilt smell perception, we also rate the goodness based on multiple relatable etched memories or moments. It is a subtle effusion of our cumulative experiences. Therefore, it is perfectly understandable that knowledgeable experts have differing opinions of certain fragrances. Having lived for more than two decades in the Middle East before moving to the West, I tend to prefer 'spice, incense or Oud' notes. '10/10' is an arbitrary system of evaluation for fragrances, highly dependent upon what is more important to an individual, longevity, performance, versatility or simply, the pleasing notes.
Wow man! Well said. I've been expressing this for awhile, especially with the wife. I don't think (MOST) frags smell bad, it's just what you are accustomed to. I enjoy PR Phantom and Bad Boy (edt and edp) and ppl rag on it. Most are coming around to bad boy edt.
Absolutely LOVE cdni. Don't know what people are talking about with its opening. Beast mode performance and incredible quality. Smoky with just the right amount of sweetness. Reminds me of a double black on the rocks. Cannot get enough of it.
@@gunite2247 Do not go on what a few reviewers have made it to be. Infact, I like the edt more than the pure parfum (have both). The edt is smokier and infact, I quite enjoy the "harshness". Really amazed to see the fuss around it. People tend to pick apart even the smallest things. Blind buy in my opinion.
@@rohithetta201 Buy the "made in UAE" edt. I have the pure parfum too and yes it is smoother but not as smoky as the edt. I layer the pure parfum with the edt and god damm does it smell good. There is nothing better at this price point. Infact, I dare to say that I enjoy it much more than sauvage and bdc.
@@THE-UG true bhai... I have got complements by cdnim only... Imagine stranger asking you what are you wearing in the 9th hour in India.. but I am getting Pure parfum and edt at the same price.
A 10/10 is more easily obtained for a $10 frag than it is for a $100 frag. If you want to make the 10/10 absolute and not relative to the cost than the list would be very short. Probably only 2 or 3 will make it... So I guess there's your answer why Gent Scents did the list this way and chose the frags he did...
Bentley for men Intense is not for everyone... but the quality of scent you are getting for this price, it's a 10/10... I personally love it and have received compliments wearing it... but just because it's a challenging scent does not warrant a 6/10... but it's personal opinion... I personally would only give Montblanc Individual a 7.5/10
