Cheap Hot Glue Gun Hack - Very Useful 

You just described the problem with every glue gun I own. I made a separate stand years ago but I like this idea better. Nice bending techniques with the square channel, vice, and hammer.

By the thumbnail, I was hoping you would use a plastic coat hangar as the melting/gluing medium for hard plastics...

I have the same glue gun and how I fixed mine . Is I put a real strong magnet in the back of the gun and I went to the dollar store and got a metal pan almost like a meatloaf pan but with lower sides. So when the glue is dripping out of the gum when you're not using it it goes into the pan and I'm able to store my other glue sticks in there that I'm using and it worked out pretty good.

That's good . I found you today looking up how to make your own dremel attachments because the ones I get at Walmart just plain suk . The barrel sander I cant sand for 3 to 4 min. Before it unravels. The cutting disk , i break them in less time than that . I try to be very careful and they still bust on me . I'm not working my back went out on me 8 years ago I need to help provide for my family so I started making knives . One big problem is I live in a small town and all we have here is a doller store . Closest Walmart is an hour away. It's hard, my wife's the only one working and she saw me filing for hours and surprised me with a cheap brand dremel from Walmart, Hyper somthing it's called. Another problem I have is , a man from church here heard of what I was doing and he donated all his cordless dewalt tools to me to help..man that was nice. 2 angle grinder, 1 angle drill ,, 1 seawall, 1 skill saw, wired jigsaw, 4 batteries. The batterys are all shot . They work but die in about 5 min. Then if there warm or hot the charger wont charge them till they cool down . So I have a ruff time getting in the groove lol. I dont blacksmith or forge.. just cutting wheel and grinder knifes . Deer horn handles, wood, and some jaw bone with the teeth.. I enjoy it , but the tool situation makes it complicated. So for the dremel you have helped me alot . Realizing I can make alot of the attachments. I hope to someday be set up so that I can really be knocking out knives the right way , with the right tools. I need a belt sander to for leveling the cutting edges straight, I free hand it with a grinder. Well thanks for listening, you have a great channel . Oh I'm here in Central Texas just about dead center if you fold texas in half twice ... thanks
