Thanks! One of my favourite watercolours too. It’s bright and sunny, and creates brilliant natural looking greens in mixtures. It’s a great choice for a limited palette.

Heck yes. This makes the most lovely, deep forest, jade-like greens. This + anthraquinone or ultramarine blue..... Makes you want to jump into the page.

I learned about Azo Yellow awhile ago in watercolors and I have to agree that BPD color at first is off-putting… but blaze on thru to gorgeous gold!!! Thanks, Julie, for this demo!!

I use Sennelier Yellow Lake, which is the same pigment, it's fabulous!

Pretty.....kinda similar to Transparent Yellow.

Transparent Yellow is actually a combination of Nickel Azo Yellow and Hansa Yellow Medium. Since I had both, I mixed them together and made my own TY. I can’t remember if the TY I looked up is WN or DS. Maybe both brands, but can’t say for sure.

Wow- beautiful color! Could you do a video review on Chinese Orange? I've seen a color swatch of it and it's so intense - almost like a burnt orange but a bit brighter and fiery! 🤗🧡🌹
