Installing cheap eBay mudguards to my mountain bike. I purchased these at the beginning of the year but realised they would not fit. Now the wet weather is returning I need guards on my bike for my rides to work. I dismissed the supplied brackets and made my own from flat aluminium bar. I also modified the guards by removing the excessive flaps from the ends to make them look neater and prevent them fouling the stairs at work when wheeling my bike down on it rear wheel.
