Thank you! The Stealth Cam is definitely awesome! I love mine! If you can afford it, the Stealth Cam does produce a little better quality image to a slightly greater distance - but for anyone on a tight budget, the KINKA will get the job done, especially for just a little over half the cost of the Stealth Cam. I’m just not sure if there’s enough quality difference to justify the extent of the price difference between the two. I think it ultimately comes down to everyone’s individual preferences and how much you are able and/or willing to spend. Yep, the thermal scope is a “Holy Grail” for me. But for now, I’m still dreaming about getting just a good IR rifle scope like the Sightmark I mentioned in my Father’s Day gift ideas video. But, heck yeah, thermal would be way better - wouldn’t have to worry about fog, etc. Can’t go wrong with 30.06, great all-around round! 👍😁
@@TNTOutdoors4Uhave you seen the crossover/merge of both? It’s scary crazy. Imagine the silhouette being illuminated just in the outline of water is being picked up and then the other half kick in and fills and it’s part….between that and whatever happened to the pretty expensive targeting trigger control fire system that allows you to paint multiple targets and would only allow the trigger to be pulled when it was on target calculating things ballistically turns into expert hunter no matter the weather. My only question I continue to have is for those of us who live extremely down south and right now summer has kicked in, but so have several seasons as well as maintaining farm land property taking down hogs coyotes you name it no matter the fact that you infrared and red and thermal thermal the heat wave we had last year at midnight it was still 96 to 98° and hundred percent humidity how does that affect these optics regardless of processors and everything in between I’ve read and done some research, but there doesn’t seem to be a definitive clarification of one over the other because if you’re giving off the heat range close to what’s coming off the ground doesn’t that render thermal useless and you go back to Witch infrared which is technically another type of thermal wave?
@@TheHasenbeck I have not seen a “crossover/merge” device yet? Do you know what it’s called so I can google it? Also, interesting question regarding thermal “washing-out” due to ambient heat = body temps. But now I’m curious. Wish I had a good thermal device to test that. My father has a thermal camera that plugs into your cell phone (from Amazon) and it’s actually pretty decent and cool. I think I’ll at least do some testing with it this Summer to see. Gonna be a few weeks before we get back into the woods, it’s been non-stop raining here for weeks, gotta wait for it to let up…. Thanks for watching!👍😁
The 2 monoculars do not record audio. However, the Megaorei DIY NV scope attachment does record audio, not the greatest audio, but it does record it. Sorry, that would have been a good thing to go over in the video, but hope that helps. Thanks for watching!!👍😁
The Stealth Cam has 3 zoom options: 1x, 2x, or 3x that you can click through while viewing. It will take pictures at whatever zoom level you have currently selected, however, it seems to only record video in 1x zoom. For instance, if you are viewing something at 3x and press to record video, the camera automatically backs out to 1x and starts recording, and you cannot zoom more while recording. And in addition, since you only have 3 options: 1, 2, or 3x - yes, the device will always be zoomed to at least 1x. The 2x and 3x zoom levels can get pretty grainy so I don’t think I would want to record video at those levels anyways. The Kinka on the other hand, has a zoom function that acts more like a traditional camcorder, allowing you to zoom out wider, and zoom in closer. And you can record video at whatever zoom level you choose. There is a very definite point while zooming in with the Kinka where it gets extremely grainy, practically unusable, quality.
