I learned to put my sheet sets in the coordinated pillowcase last year (& yes, folding fitted sheets IS annoying, but not too hard to do)...it makes it nice to be able to just pull the whole linen set out of the closet when changing the sheets instead of searching for matching items. I look fwd to using your ideas to get my closets organized!!!

Your friend is so fortunate to have you nearby to help her organize. I am a huge fan of putting sheet sets inside the pillowcase too. I am hoping to have some luck finding the white bins at Aldi...no luck so far. I purchased some at Target this summer for my daughter's dorm room and they cost 3 times as much.

My linen closet is also where we store all the cold medicines, animal meds, vitamins, toiletry storage (new toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, etc...), first aid supplies (alcohol, peroxide, large bandages, etc..) and these two shelves get so messy! Would love to see a video on how to store these items contained so things aren't falling all over the place. Right now I have baskets but everything is jumbled all over, and impossible to find anything, so everything is hard to get to and eventually gets all mixed together. I just bought those bins at Aldi's the other day to use in my pantry. They were 2 for $4.99 and super durable, I love them!

I have many of those handled DT containers, I use dark red ones in my linen closet, and light aqua ones in my laundry room. They are wonderful !!!

We do the sheets in a pillow case thing, too. Love that. Great tips, and love the after of the closet.

Oh my goodness, I just got SO excited for this video!! My linen closet is IDENTICAL to this one, size and all. I've been trying and trying to find a way to organize it but all I could find were videos where people only stored linens in there. This seriously just made me so happy because I finally have a guide to go by where I can still keep my products in there too, as its really the only storage spot in my bathroom! It was the last place in my apartment that isn't organized and neat and it just had me so stressed out! Thank you thank you thank you for sharing this. You're so amazing (and budget friendly, which is extra phenomenal!!)

We use a door shoe organizer in our linen closet and love it! The amount of space it saves is awesome and only a $6 investment (cannot go wrong with that)!

Omg! How did I NOT think of storing the sheet sets in the pillow case! I’m going home TONIGHT and implementing! Not so sure about practicality if storing bath towels in baskets though. At least not for our family of 6. We have WAY too many towels for that. We only wash towels on weekends so you can imagine how many we need to have. Lol. However I did take your closet organizing tip from a different video and our bathroom closet looks SOOOOO much better AND we have actually KEPT it organized for over a month now! Game changer!

Love your tips for Organizing the linen closet. Folding Fitted sheets are so frustrating! Thank you for the tip! My mom can fold a fitted sheet perfectly but I was not blessed with her fitted sheet folding gift SO it will be pillow cases for me for now on out! (and just in time for a visit from my parents!)

Kathryn... I love the bins you mention 1 minute into your video!!!! I have these in smaller sizes in both the white and charcoal grey and I got them from our Poundland (your equivalent of the Dollar tree).

Thank you so much for the command strip idea to keep the shoe holder from flapping. My husband says he can't sleep early in the morning when I'm in & out of the closet & trying to get ready for work because of the knocking sound of the shoe holder. The trick to folding fitted sheets for anyone who's interested is one step that most people miss when they post about it online. The key is that you fold in half and match the corner's (pockets) tucking one side into the other. From here most people just fold in half and try to keep folding til its the right size. But you have to repeat the first step, fold again and tuck the corner's into each other. Then lay flat and fold from there. It made all the difference for me and how neat they turned out when I learned this trick. Hope it helps someone! :D

Love these tips. I currently got rid of two huge oversized dressers in my room. I only used one drawer. Just went to dollar general found a woven basket for $3. What I had in the drawer fit in the basket on the shelf in my closet. So much more room in here.

Thank you so much for the tip about using command hook adhesive strips to hold the shoe organizer to the door. I have one in my bathroom that holds all my nail polish and supplies. I drives me crazy that the bottles hit the door every time I open it! I literally jumped up after watching this video and fixed it!! Ahhh! Peace! Thank you!!

Great Ideas!! I use the dollar tree vacuum seal bags for my kids twin size comforters. I store it on the top shelf of my linencloset because the space is really high to the ceiling. It only fit 5 cause my closet is soooo small and narrow.

I really like storage bins that have a strait 90 degree angle to the sides so u don't lose space. It looked like some of the white bins were like that and some were not. I need more under the sink options than u showed. I have a small bath and need to utilize every inch in there. I'm going to search ur vids for more vertical storage ideas. Thank u as always for showing us some great options and where to find items.

I love watching your videos. I have some of those woven plastic bins that you found at Aldi. I found mine at Kmart here in Australia. I place all my clothes that need to be ironed in one (the bins I got came with a lid, btw) and it has made such a difference in my linen cupboard. Plus it motivates me to do the ironing a lot more, so the ironing pile isn't so high ;)
