About 20 years ago I can remember flying out to Michigan on a $150.00 buddy pass and driving out to Copart in a rental. The Copart truck (Silverado) ran good so we drove out to the Copart located in New Jersey to pick up a Yukon (none runner) so I rented a tow dolly for $600 one way to Los Angeles to save money. Your father helped you guys a lot, give him a big hug for me.
Things to do list... 1. You can use baking soda with Lysol neutralizer into a bucket of warm/hot water to clean and neutralize the fridge. 2. Keep the RV project and fix the front.
Great video guys hopefully you guys rebuild it cuz that would be one hell of a rebuild and I've been watching all your videos for a long time now I think this one definitely give you a challenge so hopefully you revealed it have a great day guy and bless you guys and your families
No matter what you do with it, you will still be in profit based on the purchase price. Although it would also depend on what the cost would be to rebuild it. Great find though guys. 👍
id like to see start attempts of both engines , also (even if smashed) i would like to see if anything of the front dash like touchscreen radio survived
what a steal!! Like you said most people don’t have the man power and/or a vehicle big enough to haul it home and it would cost a small fortune to pay a company to haul it if you could even find one..given y’all had to swap the rear outer wheels to the front just to get it rolling, etc..Keep snatching them up at that price because that generator alone is worth so much more than you paid total as you know.
I think you have to dig a little deeper before your commit to fixing. If you have a good engine/tranny and drive lines, then you should prob commit to fixing. Looks like $20K at least to fix but that could put $20K in your pockets. Good luck; we're with you regardless of decision.
I know this video old but I'd fix that thing. One the interior is really nice (once you get the job losses out) and same she would be such a beauty when fixed.
That is an entry level motor home. To restore it will be a lot of work. Not sure of it's value once its repaired? Would be a good basic rig for someone. Have to run the numbers once you investigate further. For the price it's a winner for parts alone!
actually like the idea of one guy make it into a little house enclose the front take engine out increase the square footage you could make a tow hitch on the front to get it to its location crazy idea but it would work
