We highly recommend this cheap and fun tires for offorad mostly, the asphalt part is less relevant. We also insisted in the video on the recovery details of what not to do so you can see and remember what will happen.
Adam Gas we lost your comment but the answer is: You do have a serious issue of understanding tire evaluation, we don't need to show you what a tire can do but rather when it fails and why. What a tire can do is 90% of a trip, you don't need that, you need to know its limits. But then again this video is old and at that time much of the testing was just fun. Thanks for the feedback.
I got stuck like this once with my 1st gen fwd highlander on 265/70/16 bfg km3s. I didn't air down. Traction control was off. I was stranded for hours. Failed to haul it out with my tractor. Then I later turned on my traction control and got out going back and forth.
Great review and a very nice video! I love the duster, but bought myself a logan mcv stepway last year because of the bigger trunk. I love the car but still I wish it was a duster.

this tire is not good on the road. if you drive 50-50 get yourself Goodyear Wrangler AT or General Grabber AT2 if you can find them cos they are discontinued (maybe second hand), otherwise General Grabber AT (more off-road) or General Grabber AT3 (more road). There are more tires but those are best.

Hi there friends, I cannot name the tire pressure since they were tested by Radu. I will ask and reply if he reduced the tire pressure, though snow on the mountains is risky no matter the pressure.
great demonstration, like on line course almost....what tire sizes are mounted on these Dusters, and are the vehicles of standard or upgraded clearance ?
@@DaciaDusterTrails youre right I shouldnt do it. Its just so hard to get the right AT tires for 17 inch on dusters, in my country they dont import that size or very rarely. I found Continental conticrosscontact LX 2 or 20 for the same size 215/60R17 as my stock bridgestone tyres. They are almost like ATs but more road oriented , but good in snow too, kinda strange tires... There are Yokohama AT G015 tires for that size which are very good but dealer here doesnt import them, there are also Toyo open country AT plus for that size, but dealer doesnt import them in that size either. So I'm confused and might just go with Contis in the end...
@@sketchmoon3333 Ye actually I have 16 steelies, but I'll buy for 17s cuz they'll look better. My last choice is on Toyo AT tires for 215/60R17, I'll just have to wait 5 months till it arrives from Japan , but I think it's worth it and still not so expensive . Thanks for the reply 😊
Care sunt limitele anvelopei, asa iti dai seama ce poate si ce nu (o anumita anvelopa). Trebuie sa ai un minim de experienta in teren ca sa deduci ce se intampla si cum performeza.
Evita sofisme, testarea o faci in special in conditiile cele mai grele acolo unde o anvelopa e pusa in dificultate. Tu pe ecran trebuie sa ii vezi limitele mai mult decat normalitatea.
