Yes I'm old as dirt, but I saw them live in 1978! The whole band is awesome, Robin Zander has done a phenomenal job of maintaining his voice!

These guys are from my home town; Rockford I’ll. I haven’t seen them in years but I know all but Robin. Rick’s wife is a high school classmate of mine. At Rick’s invite I saw the first time they played out in a small club here in town. Great memories!!😊👍

Bun E. Is so underrated, he's perfectly on beat, not in front of, definitely not behind. I remember him doing all those cool solos and drum intros on the live records. Legendary master.

It is from their live at Budokan album which is live, but overdubbed, dubbed over the video from their rock hall of fame performance. I have no clue why they did this.

The audio is from Budokan from the 1970's for the first 3:30. The crowd chants are a dead give away, plus the guitar riffs. Then, at 3:24, it switches over to the audio from the video.

I never heard of this group until I accidentally found them while searching for a song I dreamed about. I had never heard the song before. Certainly not 'this' version. The dream - man had a soft mellow voice and sang it slow, making it a 'hot' romantic song. smh But I must have heard it somewhere, on some one's radio and I didn't pay attention, then my brain processed it to something that I 'would' listen to. LOL That was about two years ago. I found this group and recognized the words!!! But it was not the song in my dream. I'm still searching for that dream singer. If the song existed, then that singer must exist also.

For those of you wondering. This is live. But it stitches together 2 live audio. Up until 3:24, the audio is from the Budokan recording ("Best Version") from the 1970's. Then, at 3:24, it switches to the audio from this video. So, it's live, but mostly from the 1970's Budokan performance.

No, the person who runs this channel dubbed their Live at Budokan version over the video of their rock n roll hall of fame performance.. I don't know why... They still sound awesome, but Budokan was a cleaned up live album.
