@@nareshrajani2866kindly tell us the pronunciation then...we have different accent maybe thats why we say it wrong. i know its dhosa and maybe saambaar?
Any other south Indian here who cringed every time they said "Dough-sa" instead of "Do-sa"( Do as in Hindi wala 2) and "Saam-burr" or "Sum-burr" instead of "Saam-Baar"(no hate) The video was wonderful as usual 😊
How can u say it's not healthy... It has rice- carbohydrate. urad dal- protien.. Coconut chutney- alot of elements And sabhaar is actually made up of toor dhal which is proties.. it also has other vegitables too... And as girisha said too much butter and oil and blah... Indian Street food vendors add butter and cheese to everything
@@draishwaryasalunke5414 let it be bro They don't know science behind Indian food They will judge our own Indian food by seeing some street vendors ruining authentic dish. Let them drink their protein powder
Sambar is basically of 2 types 1. Bengaluru/Mysuru sambar : which is red and sweet 2.Tamil Nadu Sambar : Spicy or which lets u feel lentils more and is yellow in colour
The latter one is the true sambhar. Which is healthy. The first one is just spices, oil and water which is not at all healthy. ( Reasons why you bloat)
@@suryanarayanavarma2745 has tonnes of big vegetables in it😠 in my hostel i could literally find big pieces of okra, drumsticks, and some other things also...its heavily boiled because one cant see lentils but can taste it in sambhar. Other then that one can also taste coconut oil (obviously). This is strictly from an eaters perspective. I have never cooked kerala sambhar. Anything wrong in my description means you should scold my hostel mess people, I will enjoy.
AP's sambhar also has different taste. 4 southern states--4 different types of sambhar. I am lucky enough to taste all of them. And I feel if all kept in front of me, I can tell which one is which state😄
This was a " Gyan of the day"for me.. bangalore , tamil ,kerala sambhers.. To be frank I don't know what they cook in my hostel in name of sambhars then
Clearing some things for you guys 1) The batter is a mixture of Urad dal and rice 2) 1L or 2L oil isn't required to make a dosa. 3) There are different types of dosas. The Masala dosa is the one where the potato mixture is put inside. Kabhi time mile toh paper roast try karna. P.S. Antil and Pavitra you are invited to eat dosa at my house 😁
I was going to type that but in northern side of India they exploited the dish as the girl told. I am saying it with my own experience , usually the people here eat from the street vendors ( specifically dosa ) or the corner shops and those guys are in a hurry to complete their orders so they end up putting lots oil or butter on their tawa for it to not sticked other wise what my mom makes doesn't require lots of ghee or oil
I am having my Hermione Granger moment!! It's "Dosa" with D as in "Do baje (in hindi)" & not "Dosa" with D as in "Dafli" wala D (in hindi). The south Indian in me could take only so much of these "D"osas!!
9:36 Toppers be like after tests 9:45 Backbenchers be like after tests Edit: Thank you soo much for 800+ likes this is the most amount of likes i ever got... Glad i could make some of ur days🤩😄
Dosa or Dose originated from Udupi and it was called doshika. it is never served with sambar, but only chutney! but this is from K'taka. soon sambar made its dominance with everything
There are multiple varities of Dosa also it's eaten in slightly different ways in every state of South. You guys should visit south for the local food 😊
Aapki videos dekh k bhukh lg jaati hai....nice video...n I love the sense of humor of antil and akshay...kanishk khaan h usko b hona chahiye tha iss video me...ok tested u guys are just amazing....keep trying new things..
I don't even remember how many times I am watching this video....and the only reason is satyaaaaammmmm.... though my favourites are Satyam, Antil,Akshay, Kautubh, Kanishk, Akansha and Anushka....love you guys....
I really like cheap n expensive episodes....please do it with spring roles....i thought a lot about it....cz as much i know spring role has same filling and concept of preparation without much experiments of that sorts....plz do
the pani dosa you mentioned is what we call neer dosa in karnataka region..the batter is made out of rice...its simply yumm when you have it with grated coconut and jaggery.
Yes we have neer dosa S well ....and that is awesome ... Like sambhar ... Even chutney is core companion of dosa ... In South. People mostly prefer chutney with dosa ..... Sambar is mostly preferred with idli
I want to see Kanishk in all of these!!! His is the kind of energy I like! Even if his team loses, it's worth to see that process! Also Rohit!! Favorites shouldn't be missed on! Maybe just put more teams..
You need to try Dosa from Bangalore GUYS...Its quite crispy..The texture is more crispy and thick..you will love it...sambhar preparation changes from region to region...In Bangalore its little sweet but tasty too....i like sambhar from both Chennai and Bangalore...though the taste differs from these two regions.
Do come to Bangalore.. You can get variety of dosas in my home, masala, plain, neer dosa (rice flour and lots of water), pesarattu(made from green gram), set dosa, etc....
