Mesh is more breathable so it won't be as warm as padding and fabric. I am not familiar with a jumper but I have a feeling it will depend on the chair model. We have not conducted a test on back sweat but padded chairs are going to be warmer than mesh so there is a higher chance for sweating on non-mesh chairs. -RB

If you lean back a lot and like to relax, then a headrest will probably be a good option. If you are using the chair upright in a tasking position most of the time, then a headrest won't be as important. Lumbar support as a concept is not gimmicky. Some manufacturers have gimmicky ways of providing lumbar support but I think having good lumbar support is an important aspect of an ergonomic chair. It is not essential but I think it is nice to have if you are sitting in the chair for several hours at a time. -RB

Exactly. When people say cheap chair thy are talking about the $20-$30 office chair you pull off the shelf at Walmart, or IKEA not a $100 chair.

Mesh less heat on back

If you are really on the fence, then it is probably safest to use what you have had in the past. If you have had mesh and liked it, stick with that. If you've had mesh and didn't like it, then go with padded. If you can go to a local store to test the difference between padded and open mesh, it would be helpful. It would also be good to buy from someone that has a good return policy so that you can send it back for little to no cost if you don't like it. -RB

There are still some excellent options closer to $400. The $200 and under range is a little more difficult to find solid options that will last a long time with similar adjustments and durability to the mid to high end products. - GK

Got the same chair, for 50 cad, its really good, u can adjust the lumbar and seat depth. and 4D armrests

@@buzomatic ya its in perfect condition, and the cushining is sitll there. def used less than 6 months. I got a leap v1, too, but thats way to short for me as im 6'1, it only gives lower back support, it makes u sit up straight though, recline is kinda boring in it. I much prefer the tritek. I love how i can adjust the back of the chair, and the headrest hits the back of my head perfectly on the 4th knob.
