Double check the red battery button and battery connection, I did this when I took the battery off to charge. The LCD screen is a generic M5 on Amazon and I’ll take a closer look at the controller tomorrow to get the ratings for you.
Unlocked on the top speed tests, stock configuration otherwise. The big difference I noticed wasn’t torque or acceleration just a bit higher top end. It is surprisingly quick to accelerate and get up to speed, this is really helpful when lane filtering in traffic and being able to get off the line quickly and back over into a bike lane.
It seems to hit the 24.7mph limit when pedaling, but without the limit the gearing does not seem like it would be able to keep up with what the bike can do when unlocked.
I live in Scotland and have a bk29 and can't get any definitive answers as to how to lift the 15.5mph limit, tried all sorts of settings but no luck, yours looks far quicker.Would you be able to list what your settings are at for me in an email? If u can I love you longtime .Pretty please?15.5mph sucks dead donkey dick,u just start to get moving then bleahh
hold the + & - buttons after it’s powered on and it will flash into a mode with P settings. Use the power button with short taps to cycle to P8 and then use the + & - buttons to set it to “067”. Cycle the bike off and this should unlock
There absolutely is, I’m just not sure if I’m allowed to share it on RU-vid but I am including a way to not mess up settings at the end of this paragraph. I’m very confident a quick email to Hitway would be helpful when looking to unlock it 😉 I will say the unlock really wakes the bike up. I keep it in PAS3 most of the time and if I’m riding with bikes that are still limited I will put it in PAS2, otherwise it is very easy to pull away. One thing you probably shouldn’t do is hold down the brake lever and throttle while powering up the bike for more than 10 seconds, it can change some of the factory settings….
