To answer the puzzle of the "Erecting Eye" piece, remove the angle prism and insert erecting one in it's place. It becomes a linear scope with additional magnification. ☺️
I had also brought this cheap 90x, Refracting telescope 🔭. Everything is fine except for the Diagonal mirror in it which is a plain glass mirror, and hence was giving Multiple images of the Celestial objects, so I had to but a new, Top coated mirror diagonal to make it work, Fine 🔭👍.
Your doing it wrong in 6:13 You must remove the 90degree thing that you use for looking and put the long black thing at the telescope For better explanation 1 Telescope 2long black thing 3the thing where you put the eyepiece
I was looking for a way to figure out how to use that erecting lens with1.5x magnification. Found this video and this is exactly same as my maginon kids telescope RT 90 which is far from kids telescope. The way i found success with the 1.5x erecting lens is to switch off all lights in room to make it absolutely dark. And inserting the T shaped lens thin side down in the middle of the 1.5x erecting lens
@MiiBooth thank you from reading comment herr i use this sequence 1.main telescope 2. barlow lens/erecting eye 3. eye piece, and i got clear image with or without prism image still straight up, so inever got upside down , even though manual book says prism for rotating upside down, but its okay i'm satisfied with this telescope
You can also view jupiter and saturn with the 6mm lens, if u know where to look. I bought it 3 years ago and i have seen celestial objects very well. The telescope is cheap, but donot misjudge its power
What about a good binoculars (paired telescope for both eyes)? Considerimg good: -low price -strong zoom -little size and weight Would you recommend something?
The best thing to do with that Barlow lens is to throw it away such lenses in cheap telescope kits are always very poor. I was surprised that your phone images were so good with no visible chromatic aberration (colour fringing)which suggest to me that the objective is achromatic and of half decent quality. The scope would be drastically improved by replacing the Huygen eyepieces with Plossls or at least Kellners. Also try to find a way to attach the telescope to a photographic tripod and buy a cheap finderscope.
@@tilexusit7353 It's a good telescope for beginners, although the price is cheap, but the quality is good. Able to see the surface of the moon.If just beginning, it is recommended to spot the birds or trees. For me I think the disadvantage is too small. It is very easy to assemble,If compared to the higher version.
I have bought a newer model the eye mirror were the eye lens go now has tightening screws on stem good up date that's as far as l have got 1533 hrs uk still day light thank you my friend keep safe keep well
6:13Hey man i have same telescopei will tell you that long tube is called magnifier when you directly put eye piece in telescope it is 18x zoom then after remove relector attached that pipe (magnifier ) in it and attached 18 x zoom lens then you magnification will inc as 18 ×1.5 = 27 zoom , same with 60 x zoom if you connect that 6mm lend with magifier and attach to telescope your magnification inc by 60×1.5=90 x zoom which is max in this case
Hi answer for ur doubt of 1.5x erecting eyepiece. This also called barlow lens. It was wrongly installed by u hence u did not get any image. U need to put this 1.5x erecting eyepiece between main telescope tube and prism. Hope this helps u!
Sorry i just got a new 90x telescope and got a solution to your querry. There is defective make in barlows lens fixature to the main tube of telescope.. The solution is first focus the telescope without barlows lens on a object, the detach the prism along with eyepiece without disturbing the adjustments, now u connect prism along with eyepiece to barlows lens and then take this whole setup near the main telescope slowly while observing in eyepiece. At one point u notice that when barlow lens i just near main telescope the things start appearing clear...so inference i drew is that it is the manufacturing error..either the main telescope tube should have been little long or alternatively u can try by fixing barlow with few milimeter outside the main tube .ie, dont fit barlow tube snuggly to the main tube. It worked for me. Try it and get back to me...if u have further doubts feel free to contact me on my watsapp +919730717925
You should have also shown us with 90x magnification. Bro i also bought the same telescope and it was same with me even i was also getting a bad blury image with 90x then i tried reading manual but unfortunately everything was written in Chinese then i translated it to English then i understood that i and you we both were doing a same mistake if we want to apply 90x zoom then we should remove diagonal mirror on which we put our eyepiece then we should put our 1.5x additional lens then put the eyepiece and focus and youll get a clear image. I prefer you refer manual if you dont understand anything like me better take a help of translator. Thank You
That piece of 1.5X ercting eyepiece is not compatible with the 45 Degree Mirror Assembly. Using that in the Optical path along with the Mirror assembly creates focal planes that are beyond either extremes of the Focal Adjustment scree. You have to use it in sequence as mentioned here : Objective Lens -> Erecting 1.5X Barrel -> Eye Piece, all directly in the same line and without the mirror component.
I bought this telescope at a Starset concert for $120 lol. Not as good as my main telescope but I'll still use it for fun. Also, it's not that bad for its cheapness.
What about a good binaculars (paired telescope for both eyes)? Considerimg good: -low price -strong zoom -little size and weight Would you recommend something?
The good binoculars certainly have high zooms which lead to less field of view, it gets hards to spot celestial objects in that much zoom. Also, the shakiness will be a headache
Hi @MiiBooth, thanks for posting this! My son just got this as an Xmas present (he is very much into space and moons and stuffs now), and I have been tasked to help him use it *sweating buckets*. You mentioned in the video that the image should be right side up. However when I assemble the pieces together, I view the image as upside down. In fact when I look into the angle prism (the triangular piece), the image I see is also upside down. Is there something I may have done incorrectly or if there is something with the product I have in hand? :(
I have been trying to assemble my Hvezdarski (some kind of Czeck) telescope for ages, still only seeing black. I checked, every lens is celar, and I see through everything. When I assemble, I see darnkess. Do you have any ideas to solve it?
Don't get this save up for a real one this doesn't even have a finderscope the aperture and focal length are also terrible also you can see the chromatic abbhoration on the lenses
hi i just got this telescope as my christmas and birthday gift to myself and i love using it however i have problem using different eyepieces, whenever i use the 6mm it goes blurred same with the erecting eyepiece. i use the erecting eyepiece in horizontal proper way, i dont really understand why it goes very blurred and i feel it being useless
@@blissjoy687 can see d clearity of telescope taken from my mobile on my channel bro. The more u zoom, focus n clearity will b lost. It's the beginner telescope
