@@JerryBrownTravels Any plans to visit and explore Cuba? In the US we have lots of citizen journalists covering the Biden open border migrant surge. The journalists at the border ask the people where they are coming from and about 3/4's say they are from Cuba. The USA has a Wet feet/Dry feet policy that gives $10,000 to each Cuban who arrives here with Dry feet so it looks like Cuba is going to be a low population island soon. Good for retirement....

RU-vid is very very fussy about any background music it doesn't have to be from the original artist but RU-vid will pick it up and give you a copy rate penalty. I was in a little restaurant recently making a five second video clip on the waiters and waitresses and I didn't even notice any background music and I got a notice from RU-vid it was copyrighted. I've gotten real paranoid about any background noise that's music I will mute it out and put in my own music as an example or two years ago we were at a Michael Jackson look-alike contest and they had of course Michael Jackson music but I muted it out and put in music that was not copyrighted. It wasn't the same music but that's the best I could do.

WE ARE VERY EXCITED….WE GOT OUR TEMP RESIDENCY VISAS IN ATLANTA !!! However, we retire in 10 months, and our plan is to take two weeks off work in July and get get part 2 done in Mexico. NOW, we keep hearing that so many people are working on this that INM is taking 2-8 weeks. We will be in San Cristobal de las Casas, and if it takes longer than our two week vacation, we are in a bit of a pickle. Thoughts or ideas on how we get this part 2 done in 2 weeks ? We speak Spanish so that is the easy part. Thanks for all you do !
@JerryBrownTravels
@JerryBrownTravels 2 года назад
Typically it takes 10 days more or less my suggestion is the day you get in go to immigration office and start your second part. Don't hesitate one minute start your process right away. Good luck and let me know how it turns out.
@DestinationRetirement
@DestinationRetirement Год назад
It is different in each INM office. I got my 3 year temp visa in Mérida Mexico. I had an attorney help me. I had to pay someone to stand in line starting at 9pm the night before. Maybe find a Facebook group that lives in that area specifically and ask what the process is there now. And yes Jerry, start the day you arrive!

Another enjoyable video, but I gotta ask, what happened to your music soundtrack around 7:15?? I wouldn’t have pegged you as a fan of rap music! 😂
@JerryBrownTravels
@JerryBrownTravels 2 года назад
That's an excellent question. RU-vid substituted music that was playing in the background and that music was copyrighted music so they substituted with that crazy weird sound.

Mexico does not require that you be vaccinated to come into the country and it does not require you to have a test but when you leave the country and if you're going back to the United States you will need to be tested here in Mexico

My only problem with Mexico, is that I just can't handle the constant, ongoing, blaring loud music that continuously blasts throughout the neighborhoods! I don't even want to hear my favorite songs on full blast! Other than that, I would consider moving there.

I agree with you 100% and Lori agrees with you 100% but if it's not loud it's not Mexico.

I just got back from two weeks in Puerto Vallarta. Staying in a locals' part of town - not a resort. Loud music and fireworks not a problem there. I was surprised tbh.
@RiffOSaurus

@@philexile0you got lucky with your vacation. Next time try staying longer and see what happens. Things constantly change. I just wouldn't want to take a chance on moving my entire life over there and then end up regretting my decision later. Vacation is one thing, but permanent living is another.

Hey Jerry & Lori, how does the weather in this area compare to the heat & humidity down in the Yucatán? I can deal pretty well with the heat but that humidity on the southern east coast is brutal.
