Ok, worst optic I ever bought was a no-name Russian fixed 4x scope with a 1" tube. I bought it to put a scope on my Yugo Mauser M48 so I could play "Enemy At The Gates" which was a movie that had just come out at the time. It had this cool #4 German plex reticle and was delightfully old school looking. Against the recoil of 8mm x 57 it stood a snowball's chance in hell and lasted just about as long.

@@RON9MMshow I think I gave $75 for it or so. Shoulda known better but I was younger then and didn't know what I know now about optics, obviously.
