That's where I caught my first bass when I started fishing. Never caught a bluegill there before those are fun fishes

To cast you set the drag up like you would on a baitcasting reel. You set the drag to where your bait just barely starts to drop Just holding it. Then you hold the button swing back and toss and release the button like you would with a spin caster. Then you tighten the drag up a bit and reel it in.

Personally I don't like those type of reels I bought one before and I had a bird's nest the first time and I took it back got my money back never again....
