haven't tried any phone with 8S Gen3 yet but that Genshin performance on the new "highest" render resolution settings looks pretty good for a phone this price!! No surprise for HSR since even the best chip from MTK, Qualcomm or Apple can't really maintain 60FPS at max graphics around Golden Hour map too. But I think if just drop the graphics a bit, should be quite smooth.

your line up in star rail is quite....unique😅 edit: wuthering waves still has bugs my poco f5 with disabled HW overlays on developer options can reach around 50fps at max setting but after the 1.1 update even with dev. option boost i cant even reach 40 and the update has camera sensitivity issue

My Poco X6 Pro 12/512 gives me pretty similar performance and temps. I get 45 degrees with Wuthering Waves, but now I see thats normal with that game.

By the way, I noticed that you didn't turn on the "Ultimate Mode" through the battery logo as it should've turned blue with arrows icon facing up. Try turning that on through the Security app or just drag down the features panel and you should get the full potential of the POCO F6 👍

One highly underrated thing about Poco devices is their Dolby Atmos in Video mode. Man, that thing is crazy good and super underrated. It made my half-in-ears sound on the level of in-ear buds. What's you opinion on it @Kenneth?

The terrible performance on Wuthering waves is not because of the device. That game just got released while still unoptimized, and it got worse update by update. In fact, you can finish dailies in Honkai Star rail on the same device snd network for the dame time you'd spend waiting for wuthering wave to load

I'm a former Poco F3 owner, I have decided never to buy a Poco device again. To explain it a little, I bought a Poco F3 and my friend got a Poco X3 Pro, as they promised really performance in their respective price segments. Fast forward 1.5 year, my friend's F3 died. Yes he was a gamer, but that is obviously what you expect to do when you are buying a device targeted at that. It got fixed by some work on the board (cpu reballing I'd assume). Fast forward another year, my Poco F3 died as well. According to Xiaomi repair Centre, the processor had died. My suspicion is heating caused the processor to separate from the board (I am yet to get it repaired as it's not an easy fix) My F3 was used indoors most of the times, with Air Conditioning. My use, aside from the 1st year, was moderate, with some clash of Clans and pubg. The battery health had fallen to 80% in less than 2 years. Long story short, yes these devices offer excellent performance for gaming, but they do not have the quality control of flagships. So don't expect the polish in the software, or expect they to last more than an old flagship. (2 of my other friends bought an old Samsung Note 10+ and they both work great even to this day) The lesson I learnt is this: It's better to buy an old flagship than a new midrange that promises performance too good to be true. Because even though it might have excellent performance in the start, the quality sacrifices they made will definitely come back to haunt you. Peace out ✌️

This seems like a scam compared to x6 pro. X6 pro after latest update gets 1.44 antutu score by the way. And look at wuthering waves performance it is simply disgusting on f6. Heating is so bad on f6 just avoid it and buy x6 pro. The reason im saying this is because my previous phone was f4 gt and honestly my gaming experience during that time was the worst gaming experience i have ever had. I promise u will regret buying an oven phone.

I'd rather buy an old Samsung flagship. It's just a better software experience. Small things that Chinese OEMs in a very annoying way are simply handled in a much better way by Samsung or stock android.

There is one big problem with Xiaomi devices and it's the software. I have a Xiaomi pad 6 after upgrading os from Android 13 to android 14 the experience has become kind of sh!t. All of the games that needed to be connected to the internet stopped working. They basically tried to copy the ipad experience but made the experience worse I am never going to buy Xiaomi device ever again. Many people here also complain about their device dying after updating software. Don't buy Xiaomi devices!
