as regular traveller to Tenerife,i am a disabled passenger who walks with 2 crutches,i always get a taxi, yes its more expensive but well worth the extra just to be sure you get a seat,why start your hoilday off with uncomfotable hassle,just found your channel and subbed

Same as if a Spanish person tried getting on a bus at Manchester airport and started asking questions in Spanish. Bus driving is not a dual language job. The drivers her can be put on any route from the northern mountains where no one speaks any English, to airport buses (where 75% percent of arrivals are from Europe, not UK). He should have recognised a disability card though as the symbols are the same.

You knew you would be last on the bus so would most likely not get a seat so why not wait for the next one and guarantee yourself a seat of your choice ?

The Titsa bus service is great - can get all around the island most hours of the day and night, and every day of the year. I can go to Santa Cruz knowing I can get a bus home at any hour - even 3am in the morning back to the south. Cheap travel - most fares with the card are around €1.45-€2.

The best way is to go to one of the many, Transport Kiosks inside the Airport Terminal. Cheap as Chips. And a Guaranteed seat!

Yes, if using bank card - you can pay the driver with visa/mastercard in your currency, like you would pay anywhere with a UK debit/credit card. I use my UK Revolut card to pay and I live here.
