Yes!!! The longer the better! I had to stop watching the recaps from others that were only 10 minutes long because I felt like I was missing something much. I guess I could just watch the show myself but that’s why I love you guys!! Gimme them details and that commentary!!! Lol
So elated by the fact Rames spoke about Palestine :') my respect for him rocketed at that point ...also shout out to Netflix for not cutting that part out
@pearlosibu Although, I feel like Tim is part of the problem, too. From the beginning, he admits he likes to provoke and agitate the person he is with. He likes the "bite back" and someone who pushes back at him. That's combative, especially when someone tells you they struggle with their temper, which Alex did. Alex is definitely a red flag, but honestly so is Tim. Beautiful letter and all 😂.
"Show me your MyChart" that had me howling! 🤣 I needed a break after watching this episode... Steven is nasty. I really loved how Taylor and Garrett showed up for Monica though. 💜
I admit I teared up just a lil bit on Alex's dad and Tim's pod letter moment. Oh My Gosh! My feels got deep felt on this.😍🥰😍 What a beautiful moment..This saved LIB DC for me after all the problematic stuff coming out in and after the season almost and in episodes lately. My heartstrings definitely got tugged. Still loving Taylor & Garrett. 🥰 Alex's father is the MVP so far of this season with his sweet moment with Tim. Similar to how I felt about Jenn Tran's brother on The Bachelorette.
Dude has a giant house and a father & mother that loves and support him, why would anyone move from that? specially in this economy, in the future that house will be his own anyway, Hannah can keep wasting money in expensive bills to make herself feel mature lmao!
100%. That said, I think hr is spoiled and needs to be more mature about like tasks. He didn’t know how to boil pasta. Hannah is still a bitch, make no mistake.
It didn’t necessarily feel like Hannah had much of a choice for living on her own. Idk if I missed something but that’s the impression I got. I get your point tho bc she was kinda nasty about it, and I don’t see any issue at all with staying at home until you’re ready (financially or otherwise).
I think it's perfectly fine to stay with your parents while you can. Life is so short and I'd love to see my parents everyday. Plus he can save up for when he's ready to move out. I like Hannah but she speaks to Nick like she's better than him and many others because she has been on her own for a long time. She's acting like a mom and if I were her, I wouldn't want to be in a relationship where I felt like a mother. She's so mean to him 😅
I don’t know what Steven’s intentions were, but I do think this is a classic case of a guy saying “all the right things” but not meaning them. He just knew what he SHOULD say. That’s why he always seems like he’s acting. Every now and then he would ramble and start talking about God knows what because he wasn’t speaking from the heart. He was confusing himself. Poor Monica :(
Even I Know to have a Passcode on my Phone. But I’m glad she found out before the wedding. The convo the night before was creepy enough with the Mac & Cheese. He self sabotaged. But he’s also creepy.
Justice for those who always hated Stephen! His stink was long smelt and flushed. He best not show up on Perfect Match because they have 2 open spots I am assuming for the completion of this LIB seasons finale. Freddie( called that!) Ollie( shocked wasn't he dating Sharlotte?) and I am guessing Hannah and Britney could be the LIB 2. When I watch this LIB season I feel like a raccoon lurking in the nights through garbage LOL
@@bethanythatsme ♥ I feel sad for Monica but she had all the same info we as the audience had and more but she was ignoring his red flags. I pray we never see him on reality tv again.
21:51 I think a lot of the difference between Hannah and Nick’s approach to living, cleaning, money, etc is very much because she grew up fairly poor it seems and he clearly grew up pretty well off. And America judges poor people for minor slip ups with their finances or cleanliness vs the rich aren’t even expected to handle those things themselves…she is still just straight up disrespectful of him and talks to him like a child and it doesn’t seem healthy for a relationship
YES!! ASH!! i thought that was his long game the second i heard him talk about girls sliding in his DM, he acted like garett was the one in need of a conversation at that time but obviously he was wishful yapping to him instead of spending time with monica :') during the first group meeting when they grilled all the men, he also said he felt like he didn't deserve her, she is too good for him etc. he said the same shit about his ex to monica in the pods. people will cheat sometimes because they feel they are unworthy of their partner anyways and don't believe their partner only wants them for life. this is why i think he has this sex(ting) addiction, he does not value himself at all, and talking about degenerate kink stuff makes him feel in control (of his degeneracy). i'm armchairing the fuck out of this dude but i already connected the weird little one offs from the jump, i am so familiar with this kind of person :')
My take on Ramses - he was not vocal about his views on imperialism in the pods cause he would risk rejection. I think it was deceiving as Marissa had a connection with Bohdan who was closer aligned with her values. I am having a feeling that he is not into Marissa as much as she is into him so he is not bothered anymore to be vocal. He gives this I’m a liberal when it suits me vibes
I’ve always had the feeling that Ramses is NOT as into Marissa as she is into him. His body language and how he reacts/facial expressions when she’s going on and on about him, is very telling to me. They won’t work out.
@@jessejess5159 I had exact same feeling, he had an uncomfortable look on his face every time she said I love you. He seems nervous and very self conscious to look good. I’m surprised that no one has picked up on these cues
Theres always been something lowkey creepy about Stephen to me, and I think it's what y'all are saying about his coming off fake, always saying the "right" thing, always being so agreeable ("you're right"). Imo he's a dangerous kind of man, in the sense that he isn't emotionally safe or even physically safe (potentially giving a partner an STD etc from all his... secret extracurricular activities). The worst thing about him is that he takes no accountability and subscribes to this whole "I'm just a sad little guy, it's so hard being a man, I have no control over myself" which let's him feel like it's all beyond his own control and also that HE is the perpetual victim. Yikes yikes yikes yikes yikes yikes Edit: Monica's biggest mistake was not listening when he talked about his past cheating as if it wasn't his fault and something that unfairly happened to him. BIG red flag there.
I 100% believe that they just cast the most unhinged people this season because they saw the drama paid off well last season, because what the hell is going on with half of these couples!? 😂😂
Three cheers for the long winded 🎉🎉🎉 Personally, I answer questions in paragraphs rather than sentences. Thanks for working your tails off, creating content that is fun to look forward to. Edit: as someone who wore a criminal amount of pleather in the early 00s...yes, yes it is the jungle level humidity that you were wondering about.
The meeting between Tim and Alex's family was one of my favorite family meetings on LIB everrrr. It was so precious and beautiful! And same, I feel like after this meeting he has to say yes now or we will all be disappointed haha
The way Taylor and Garrett showed up for Monica was really sweet. I find it so cute when you can rely on not only a good friend, but her man too 😂❤ Loving your reviews as always guys! Looking forward to Habibi with you two 🎉
What am I the only one that has noticed that Stephen’s pupils are two different sizes when he’s talking to Monica about his cheating!?! Has anyone else noticed this?? 😂
I love long videos! No complaints here. The meeting with the families this episode were really sweet. I loved Ashley's father, though it was hard not to have all the allegations against Tyler in the back of my mind the entire time. ;-; Stephen's actions look to me like he was trying to get out without having to be the one to break things off. Because this is the exact same thing that happened with his last relationship! I am curious though on how Monica saw the texts. Is this like Hannah leaving her "things I hate about you" list out for Nick to find?
I live in europe and i feel like most people share ramses views on us army 😅 the military thing being like “you didnt have a choice” and “you didnt know what you signt up for” is like - so you agree you were manipulated by a propaganda in non functional system? Sure be proud that you made it thru but how are you supportive of this system after feeling like this?
I love the longer videos! I listen to my recaps while working out and my workout is 1.25 hrs so if you could stretch them out a bit more that’d be great 😉😅
okay, so hear me out. i do think hannah is being aggressive in the way she's conveying things to nick, but i also think it is unfair to not put anything on him. i mean, i'd be pretty annoyed if the guy i was with couldn't even boil water for pasta, and didn't even know that pasta is kept in the cabinet rather than the fridge. again, it doesn't excuse the way she's talking to him. and i do believe it has everything to do with his upbringing. when they visited his parents, the women stayed in the kitchen making dinner, and him and his father sat down outside and talked. what makes me think that he probably never had to scramble an egg in his life. and i think she might be seeing herself having to have the role of teacher for her partner, which is pretty annoying. especially for women having to teach men the most basic homemaking shit ever. there are women who are okay with that, she's clearly not. and she's clearly testing him all the time, instead of having an open horizontal conversation, to figure out if she wants to try and make things work with him, regardless of these things.
Marissa’s mom…it was really painful to watch and I really wonder how did she grow up being such a great vibe. Hanna scrubbing the walls every week…what are you scrubbing? What do you do in that flat?
My fiance and I havs different standards of cleanliness and we do clash over that at times but it's more like a discussion now. Hannah and nick are like that but she vacuum every day? I'm not doing that 😂 wear slippers in the house
I hate that they keep showing us the middle of the fight without any build up. They did it with Alex and Tim. And now they did it with Monica and Stephen.
I have been wondering what the situation is behind this. Like what’s the reason(s) we aren’t shown it? Just didn’t get it on camera? Agreement to not show certain things? I’m very curious
Regarding Ramses & Marissa not talking about her military in the past, I think he said he was giving her a chance to prove herself (something like that). I'm with you on Steven acting. He's like two different people sometimes. At first he reminded me of the Friend's character Phoebe dated who was always upbeat but a lot of his comments are so weird. Being at the sleep study drunk doesn't make any sense. I don't get the negative comments about Nick living with his parents. Its a smart decision to save money while building up your career. I laughed out loud when you reacted to the number of books on the shelf cause that was my reaction as well. I had to rewind to confirm that I didn't miss a large book case. I like Nick and hate how Hannah keeps putting him down. It like nothing he does is good enough. Not everyone has the same experiences and judging him for being in a different place in life is not fair. Also, Hannah's constant cleaning would give me anxiety. Tim's meeting Alex's dad had me tearing up. Even if they are not together I hope they are both learned from this experience Still love Taylor & Garrett. It was so cute when she was checking his social media and all the fish. Catch of the day 😆 The Tyler/Ashley situation has me uncomfortable. I'm holding judgement until the reunion and hear them both.
Hannah drives me nuts with her immaturity. I just can’t. My fiancé has his bunny from childhood and I think it’s so cute, and he knows I sleep with my baby blanket and pillow that my older brother gifted me as a baby to this day. She is so immature and judgemental over the smallest things it’s honestly gross.
I appreciate how you guys are sensitive to not spreading gossip, but now that Tyler’s children’s Mother has posted on IG today, I hope you guys address that in your next review. And there’s also his ex-fiancée’s old deleted Facebook posts uncovered by a TikTok detective that fills in a lot of the backstory. Saying you’re going on the show to create more opportunities to provide for your children, and instead going MIA, is giving callous sociopath when you have school age children.
I find myself really rooting for Tim and Alex again. I want them to work so bad. My that big fight early on actually eased their relationship in a way? Like they've already gone through something hard and bad and overcame it so now they can relax or something?
Have you guys noticed that every drink these people have is in a gold cup or wine glass? Does everyone own these? Or is the show supplying gold cups? Lol Literally EVERY place or home has these cups! Wtf? Ps. Love you guys❤️
It's for continuity and editing, so they can edit/cut scenes without the level of liquid in the cup being all wonky (because what we see is like a days worth of filming, lol.)
I’m a Tim hater lol. I don’t like the fact that he does things just because a woman doesn’t like it or keeps doing something even when he’s asked to stop. I think he’s comes off genuine, but that annoying little brother act gets old fast and I could never marry that. He killed it with the her family though.
Not getting why there's so much hate for Hannah. Looking at everyone's reactions to Nick after meeting him, its pretty clear that he hype himself up as something that he's not. Even with the home situation he made it appear as he was living in a bachelor's den with a pool table and all these things. While, there's nothing wrong with living with your parents, there is a difference when you're just dating someone versus when you go on a show where the goal is to get married. What if Hannah didn't have a place of her own either? Would he want to move in with his wife into his parent's basement. Hannah has been independent since she was 18 and made her own way. It's very clear with Nick that he has been pampered and lived with his parents his whole life. That is fine HOWEVER, the annoyance from Hannah is coming because of the fact that Nick seems to have played himself up as mature, ready for marriage, and set up. He doesn't seem to have made plans for the real life changes that come. Pay attention to something’s that happen in the next episode. He's been claiming he cooks and can cook all these things.... Can he? Hannah is condescending, she can be unnecessarily rude. But she seems to have a much better grasp on how to tackle real life decisions because of how she has grown up, whereas Nick seemingly hasn't thought about any of the serious stuff
Monica and Stephen are nooot for reaaaaaal!!! they are actors, in my opinion. cheating is bad, but cheating on TV? with millions watching? that is sick and messed up. and Hannah being such a clean freak but she cooks in a leather jacket, sits on the couch with shoes on and goes into Nicks house with shoes on. Is that the reason she has to clean every day? that is just weird. who was time for that? :D
Honestly, I've been trying to give Hannah the benefit of the doubt, but she just keeps getting more and more rude and mean, I think she is missing some filters and a lot of empathy. Weirdly, I'm starting to feel protective of Nick, even though I don't like him very much :') They're very cute together, but I think the way Hannah treats him would completely wear down his self-confidence over time.
adult entertainment industry on and off sincee 18, due to my stature and personal preference I've done a lot of performances and modeling as a submissive, my husband and I have been in bdsm just for us for a while (context, I swear to god context) And maybe it's just me if anyone else picks up on this let me know I'm super curious, The way Steven is acting in the end especially compared to the way he The way Steven is acting in the end especially compared to the way he acted earlier when she discussed being his sugar mama and that she was taking care of him and you would be totally fine if I The way Steven is acting in the end especially compared to the way he acted earlier when she discussed being his sugar mama, and that she was taking care of him and he would be totally fine if I if he Because she own was the one "in charge"... Tell me please if anyone else sees the way he's talking to her on the couch and the way he saying what he did was wrong and disgusting borderline comes off like he thinks there's a universe where in suddenly shelter start to spank him or punish him somehow... Like his tone hardcore comes up as a submissive performing with a dominant that they don't know that well and they're having it to essentially Admit to ways that they've Admit to ways that they've misbehaved so they can be punishedmisbehave... Straight up that's exactly what he sounds like but his body language is and especially his wording... Personally I Personally I believe 100% that there are good odds he genuinely believed that there was a chance that somehow she would sexually punish him for this not be devastated about her engagement falling apart because of attempted infidelitybelieve... Because based on everything he said and done I would not be remotely surprised if getting caught with his hand in a cookie jar so to speak didn't turn him on... Protocol parties where you can meet other people who are into Particular kinkthat... ( If you're single and a man a lot of times they do not I'm sure he could find something I'm sure he could find I'm sure he could find somethingsomething)... But no I think he finished her to a ° that seems more and more obvious looking back and he did not actually want a real relationship he wanted someone to boss him around and get kinky with him... Imagine the immense lack of poor Monica's heartbreak if he had just usedused extra XXX tinder instead
You make valid points here. A person familiar with the scene can definitely detect behavioural patterns in him. That said, PLEASE edit your post. My brain had such a hard time to compute 😅
It's funny how the two of you we're so emotional about this first meeting between Tim and but with Garrett's family he pointed out that it's weird to say you love someone you just met. I have to say this felt corny and forced. I can understand why Ashley's dad was emotional because he's already dealing with MS and wants to make sure his daughter is taking care of. But it also struck me as odd that he was so suspicious at first and was so easily won over by a letter?
her service and the troops don't need respect that's what he is saying LOL people with common sense know the US military is a propaganda killing machine that preys on lost/naive young adults, which is exactly what happened to Marissa...but she still doesn't want to admit that because she feels guilty that she got tricked + she was critical of her past service in the pods making it seem like she doesn't support the military anymore and now she's talking about being on reserves while already saying she didn't like what she did in her service...so she's a backtracking hypocrite tbh and that's a valid deal breaker 🤢
Love your guys insights and videos but have to disagree a bit on the idea that leftist ideology isn’t accepted in the pods. In most of media and even this season it’s automatically seen as Trump supporter negative/bad and left leaning as good/positive. Even Stephen had to give an explanation for why he voted for Trump.
Not supporting Trump isn't a leftist position though. He's unsavory for the majority of the country and a majority of the country would not refer to themselves as leftists. The political binary isn't "trump supports" and "leftists" and I don't really think it was portrayed like that in the show
If Trump was unsavory for majority of the country he wouldn’t have been elected in 2016 and in a position to be re-elected in 2024. That’s the medias portyal of Trump and the narrative constantly being pushed. Which was my point that from the conversations shown on this show most of those who talked about politics were shown to be leftist or left leaning and it’s more accepted than being a Trump supporter or right leaning.
@@gkmannxwell he didn't get the majority of votes in the 2016 election, so that's the majority of the country finding him unsavory lol it doesn't really matter what gerrymandering and electoral college voodoo was taking place. He did not get the majority of the votes cast.
@@gkmannxgo look up right now if he won the popular vote in 2016 lol no matter what effect gerrymandering had, he did not get the majority of the votes cast.
