So, why isn't the scumbag in prison? Why is he free to wander around and enter the hospital room of the person he's responsible for them being in there?

The fact he just sits by her bed with flowers and expects her to shrug off what he's done to her is disturbing as is his extremely violent reaction to her mother pushing him out of the room and not letting him 'explain' why him beating her up until she had to stay in the hospital for 2 days is ok. He should be taken in for a psych evaluation because there is obviously something wrong with him mentally that makes him a serious danger to his wife. At least now her mother isn't pushing her to take him back like she did when her daughter told her she didn't want to be with him anymore in the first place but wouldn't tell her why other than he wasn't cheating. I mean if your adult daughter wants to get away from her husband so badly but wont tell you why and she's not naturally dramatic or flaky why would that *not* be an automatic red flag that something serious is going on that she's not ready to talk about yet?
The real question is why if you daugther want to divorce you put your nose in it and tell her not ! She is a adult she can make her own decision and it is your v=blood and flesh you're on earth to spport her

There are thpusand of thousand one children in the world they are not all future women abuser ! With or Without sister you have to teach your son to be respectfull
Why? Not all people in this world are good and that is the reality of life. Someone who's just seeing or choosing to see only all the good things in the world will end up accepting and not knowing when they're being manipulated, gaslighted or abuse. Only an abuser will give out a statement like yours, because they want people to submit.
