Glitch update: this glitch still works as of 4.5, however *floating* landforms can’t be adjusted after cancelling the set, which makes it hard to adjust transferred furnishings. Instead, create your set using the furnishing you want to transfer and a *non floating landform*. After clicking cancel, you can then put your non floating landform on a floating landform and adjust as much as you’d like! If you’re linking/grid chaining furnishings together, make sure your anchor is a tile and not another landform, set cancel won’t work if you’re stacking two non floating landforms on top of each other.
Help, I'm stuck. Instead of the create set button, they changed it into a "single-select Mode"/"Multi-select Mode". Without the create set button, you can only throw the furniture once. When you try to do it a second time, that's where I get stuck, because the furniture is not sitting on any platform, so when you select the furniture, you'll see a red square instead of a blue square, then when you try to select the floating landform to redo the glitch, the system will give you an "invalid furnishings" message, making you unable to select the floating landform, so I'm currently stuck on being unable to throw the furniture a second time.
I think judging by all he puts there that it's 100% better than having a empty map with just a bit there! I really hope they make it infinite as well i can really get lost in that and just waste time building a nice place for my characters !
i'm a huge fan of building in any game that has a system for it, but the load limit and restrictions on object placement just kills all desire for me to invest time into the teapot. the worst part is that there are no good reasons for it, and people resort to roundabout methods of accomplishing what are incredibly simple tasks in any other builder anyway. no hate to any of the players whatsoever; it takes a lot of skill to create these 'unintended' setups. unless hoyo updates their system by removing these arbitrary restrictions, i'll get my fix from other building simulators in the meantime.
i think its for the good bc i can't imagine the huge amount of space it would take in pc or mobile to build freely 0.0 unlike sims, genshin architecture is more detailed. however I'd wish they'd let you emerge/float/sink stuffs without glitch. its such a bumper
@@trish7O7i should be able to place more than 10 items in a room before it caps out… it’s not “for the better”, it’s just straight up stupid and unnecessary :/
@@trish7O7 Its not good, its rubbish. So because some kid with an 100 dollar phone cannot load huge pieces means that fully spec PC gamer gets hanged for it? That would be the same logic as lowering highway speeds because some poor kid cannot buy a car that runs faster then 30 miles/hour. Mihoyo should be able to set limits depending on the hardware in use. I barely can even make 20% of my designs because of load issues. The main area of the mansions always looks empty, its just a bad system by default
As a teapot main, I would love to do this! However, I wish they would give us some serious updates. We haven’t gotten anything major outside of new areas to build in years!
Idk people so dedicated on this one so that they even do it like this, wow... I hope they add the system so we can make it just work without limiting too much creativity.
I have another interesting a bit of advice. I was able to get my second island today having reached trust level 5, and I discovered that it has a tremendously higher degree of furnishing limit than the first island. Then I found another wonderful surprise is that I could place items within other items to save space like dozens of boulders within each other and even houses within each other to build up my adeptal energy threefold in the space of about half an hour. So I got the Max rewards very very quickly and it still looks alright and doesn't have to necessarily be a storage closet! :)
I tried this and I did manage to make a tree go out of bounds, but the game gives me an "invalid furinishings are present in the following area..." when I save. EDIT: IT actually works! I tried to glitch a smaller item and it saved! I guess certain items (in my case, the huge glowing blue tree) won't work with the glitch sometimes? Edit 2: Apparently I can use it to glitch companions out of bounds (they need to be in a platform though!), so with careful planning I think I'm gonna be able to put a lot of characters in my area too!
Omg thanks for the vid!!! This will definitely help a lot with building large builds with Fontaine furnishings since their load is so high. Btw does this trick work with the main mansion?
This video doesn't help with the new Fontaine teapot Swirling Isles, but I do see the potential for a link between Luminescent Islet and Seafoam Shoal.
I seem to be having this tiny problem where mihoyo decided to get rid of the "create set" button and isntead installed a "multiple select mode" where you have to make a set by first clicking all of the furnishings and only then does the "create set" button appear. When you tap it it just confirms, so that doesn't work, and just canceling after selecting all the furnishings without tapping the create set button just doesn't work. ;-;
I understand having a load limit, but how in the world do you justify sectioning off the load limits across zones if the game can still easily handle loading them all into the same zone with glitches like these?
This is amazing but as a AR60 who just started playing with my teapot, my first issue was load limit and annoyed we cant just get 1 area with all of the load limits...happy there is a way, but unsure if I want to invest doing this only for maybe a teapot update to give us the load limits we so desperately want. I will do the trees and other large high ticket things but EDIT, gave up over 30 mins can't seem to even move an object 2 times let alone save...just get some error message. Will wait for devs to make us remove other zones and increase the load limit this way
Hello! Thank you for the clear tutorial! I have a question for you: I tried the sharing load by sending a few linked buildings as well as the "Whitestone Hot Spring: Diffusing Warmth" onsen, and the textures of the rocks in the onsen look as if they were not rendered in. Is this normal? Are there workarounds for such cases or should I just have the onsen in the primary area where I'm building? Thanks in advance for your help! Edit: I'm not sure what I did but the textures wound up loading in at some point. I'll keep an eye out just in case it happens again
Thanks for the guide. I can get the furniture to the next island but can’t save it using this method. I get an invalid furniture message. Why is this happening??
Hi, it only works in very specific areas, I list them in at 3:16. It may also be because they were slightly out of bounds when you switched back to your main area. Also, did you switch back to the area you’re building in before saving?
@@ZenpaiV I was attempting your example from winterswept to autumnhold. It’s within bounds and I switched between islands and back to winterswept to save but still get invalid furniture
@@MeKaDDe oh for Emerald Peak you would have to transfer the furnishing from winterswept peak to autumnhold, then switch to autumnhold to save. And dw, I’m a mobile player too :)
Ik this is a little late, but would you recommend using main area for foundation and landscaping (as well as characters if I manage to fit it in, should just be 1 tho) and then decor on one and buildings on another (maybe a lil more foundation) I say this cause then I feel it would be easier to place my sub areas decor where I want it
Hi, you aren't able to adjust the height very easily for transferred furnishings now so I recommend transferring some foundation or at least very load heavy furnishings inside first, then build around it or next to it in your main area. Before I would recommend the opposite, but because it's so difficult to adjust the height I try not to rely on perfect placement for transferred furnishings anymore as much as possible (or at least not perfect height placement). However, if you discover some tricks for perfect placement, feel free to prove me wrong!
and marking where your transferred furnishings are isn't terrible, if you're building in Emerald Peak you can even transfer teleport waypoints to mark your furnishings then go back and remove them later without touching the rest of your build.
Zenpai V , I really need help on Linking with a Controller, how do I use the drag and let go method to stitch a set together? ( not about this transfer method). I am still stuck with the slow sinking and floating style, I needed to learn the one that links everything into one boulder/platform glitch. T.T hope someone could teach me.
Hi, I attached my linking tutorial in the comment but if you're on playstation I don't think it'll work, you may need to download the app and link it there ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iqaWqsEp_Bk.htmlsi=CyiSwwFxk4wXxEBM
Just to clarify, what happens to the anchors in the other areas, do you just leave them floating in there? Concerning the linking glitch, is it possible to create the set first before linking the entire set to the anchor or do you need to link each piece tindividually
this is so hard to do on playstation i cant get it to work. i absolutely hate the furnishing limit, i wanted to have a lot of animals in my serenitea pot but they take up so much of the load limit :(
does this still work? Ive been trying to do as you show in the video but i cant get it to go further beyond the first displacement out beyond the exterior area.
I’ve tested and done it in the Fontaine realm (swirling isles) so it does work. To my knowledge, you can’t transfer over long distances anymore because once you drag and cancel once, the furnishing becomes invalid and it doesn’t let you multi select invalid furnishings to drag it a second time. Luckily, you don’t need to drag a furnishing more than once in emerald peak or swirling isles so the glitch will at least still work there.
NVM got it! it seems to be a bit different because the way it works now is you either have single item or multi item select options. So making sets works a little different now, im not sure if there is a way to revert to the old method.
yeah, sadly im trying to do the inazuma teapot since that one is my favorite. its so frustrating that we have to resort to such extremities just to be able to put a decent amount of things in an area. still, appreciate the techniques!@@ZenpaiV
The video is slightly outdated, now you can only drag once and you can’t move up and down after so I recommend only using the glitch in Emerald peak or the Fontaine realm so you don’t drag too far, using the glitch first and then building around your transferred furnishings. You can use out of bounds platforms to drag it further as well. If they turn red after dragging, just as mentioned in the video, create a set and adjust the set instead. Hope this helps!
can i move items to the main island in cool isle? that’s where I want all of my stuff to go, but I can’t find a good way to do it. it won’t let me save it, it says that there are “invalid objects”.
was this patched? i cant seem to get it to work. im in the second zone from the top on the liyue layout. im trying to build a path from the bottom tier to the top tier without having to take the dirt road.
You will be able to do two area glitches, I just tested and built in the new Fontaine realm using it! Just multi select instead of making set. However, you won’t be able to drag a furnishing/set multiple times so I doubt three area glitches are possible anymore.
Hi Zenpai! I have a question for you: I used the linking glitch to transfer a set of furniture to an island that is rather far (from Mirage Isle to Conch-Court Isle). I put it too far up, so I'd like to lower it, but at 6:28, I placed my set so far I can't click on the anchor anymore. Do you have any tips to sink that boulder beneath the floor since it's red when I click it? Or if you have a tip to grab my anchor back so I can try again? Thank you in advance for your help!
I tested it in the Fontaine teapot and it works. I like to set up platforms out of bounds to extend my dragging distance in Fontaine since you can’t drag a furnishing multiple times anymore
@@ZenpaiV can you tell me how you do it? I tried it many times but still didn't work :( Oh and to clarify, I'm trying to move things from Seafoam Shoal to Luminescent Islet
Hi, as far as I’ve experimented, it’s just from the first exterior to the second exterior (I can’t remember what the areas were called off the top of my head)
Thank you so much for the info. I'm currently trying to put the inazuma mansion into the inazuman official residence: strict adherence building, but it's not going as planned because parts of the inazuma mansion's roof is sticking out of the building. Is there a better way to hide it instead of jusing inazuman oficial residence: forcefullness? That building eats up quite a lot of load.
yup, just hit multi select instead of create set. Unfortunately, the game won't let you drag a furnishing more than once now so three area glitches probably aren't possible. Two area glitches will still be fine and even work in the new Fontaine realm!

@@ZenpaiV I gave it another try and it worked! To fix it, I needed to make sure that the furnishing was within the legal bounds of the area I was moving it to. Thank you so much!
