It’s no longer made Deno 17’ Fly Fisher out of Tampa. They only made less than 20 I believe. Kevlar. Pretty light. The hull is a copy of the old lapside Hewes. Not the fit and finish of Hewes but it’s been an amazing boat. 1046 hours on the 70 Yamaha. Had 330 hrs when I bought it in Dec 2019. Power pole, Terrova Minn Kota, Jack plate, hydraulic steering, livewell with recycle pump, litime lithium batteries power the trolling motor and graphs. AGM starter battery, NOCO 4 bank charger. Crazy when I think of the $$$ I’ve put into it.

Love the video. If you wouldn't mind, could you show a little more action of the livescope and what you are seeing? I'm a little confused how the range works on that thing.

It'd taken me a month or so to even spot real fish on it. I have it set at Perspective with the standard 8 degree Garmin mount. Perspective works good for 10 feet or less water. I like perspective because it gives me a 170 degree view where ever I point it. Gain is on auto, trying different colors however I keep going back to the copper look. I'm surprised at how many fish swim right under my trolling motor while its running. Don't seem to be spooked. Range is 120 feet, since I can cast about 60-80 feet this gives me time to target a fish. There are so many non-catchable fish though, mullet and gar to name a couple that show up on the LVS.

@JeffBattleFish great description! It is unfortunately not in my fishing hobby budget to get one yet. Would be so cool to show the screen then watch you cast right on them. I'm assuming it's how you've been spotting the snook so well too. It really amazes me how you are able to target snooker. I'd figure it was like a lotto ticket eith them. I guess they aren't so rare anymore.

Snook are easy to catch like reds if you find them. 98% of the water is fishless. Key is finding them. I get a kick out of people who say I caught a couple and they stopped biting. They didn’t stop biting they left the area.

Biggest for me on artificial. I’ve got a 42 on an 18” ladyfish. There’s a short of that one. My neighbor and my daughter both got 42” ers on artificial one on crazy croaker and one on Bass Assassin chicken on a chain. However bait does not matter when you throw into a school like that. They are like chickens.

Pretty amazing and weird. How they show and disappear. No pattern or reason. There’s a ton of glass minnows in the river.

Ya I went Saturday tons of bigger bait south of alpine fishing pier in 5-8ft of water. Marked some bigger fish but couldn't get a bite nothing was smashing the bait either. Weird morning
