Put screws back into the 2 threaded holes on the back of the lock, clamp the screws in the vice to hold the lock easily and securely while you work on it.
Cool stuff! Love those postal locks! Great job picking it! Cool breadboard setup for that! I was into electronics back in the day while I was in the military but have pretty much forgotten all of it unfortunately!

@@knowthebird They are cool, I have one myself! I really enjoyed it! I understand that about hobbies. There's only one way to find out, through moving forward! It sounded very interesting! I served in the Army for 4 years.
Very nice! I served in the Marines. I found out recently the Navy SeaBees teach some of their people locksmithing (i think its narrowly tailored for government locks/safes, and an enlisted classification in addition to other MOS stuff, not an MOS by itself).
