Did you know that I'm a Certified Golden Artist Educator? ⭐️ Back in 2016, I traveled to New Orleans for Golden Artist Educator Training -- a week-long workshop that dove deep into how to use all of Golden's paints and mediums. It was a truly formative week for me -- both as a teacher and as an artist. I would even call it foundational. Deep material knowledge and confidence have improved my art and uplifted my art practice in so many ways.
Almost immediately upon my return from the training, I made a painting, which won first prize at the Watertown Art Association show. 🏆 It was my very first blue ribbon! And I definitely credit the Golden training for getting me there.
I have always wanted to offer a similar kind of training to fellow artists -- especially since I now know so much more than I did eight years ago. That's where the idea for my upcoming in-person class, "Art Alchemy: Exploring Golden Brand Paints and Mediums" came from.

This is an opportunity to experiment with and learn about more than 20 types of Golden paints and mediums. You will go home with a binder packed full of reference samples you've made during class.
Class is held at my home studio, just outside of Boston, MA. Students have travelled from all over including California, Indiana, Texas, New Hampshire, and Canada! Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and all supplies are included. So book a cheap flight and a last minute hotel deal and spend three days immersed in art supplies. Three days that will give you deep knowledge to confidently make art with acrylics.
