Hi! I wanted to let you know that treated wood leaches chemicals in your soil. If you plant food type they will obsorb it. Love your chanel

Yes definitely, thanks. We used untreated for our raised strawberry bed and our veggie area has no wood.

Spectacular! Would you share what variety sunflowers you plant? Very inspired by your channel Thank you

Of course! I grow mostly ProCuts. I start with Gold Lite, Orange and then Plum and Red later in the season. I also have a few teddy bears and I like the Double Quicks for “fluffy” blooms.

Do you soak your hyacinth bean vine seeds? I’m struggling with getting any of mine to sprout. I’ve soaked the beans, planted in pots, planted in ground, etc. Nothin’

I don’t soak them but I think that would help if your soil is dry. They do puff up right before the sprout pushes out.

I now live in central Iowa but grew up in NW Iowa in a small town called Hawarden. It had such terrible flooding 😢. Enjoying your videos and look forward to them 😊❤️

Everything looks so good! Impressed by your success with cress; it has defeated me so far (too short to cut), but I have some volunteers popping up this year so we'll see how that goes. Maybe I need to fall sow it? Anyway, continued success to you!

Fall sowing might be a good idea - it lovess to direct sow itself around here too.

Does your yarrow fade to white/cream after a couple of years?

I’ve noticed some do become white or pale pink. I Ike to plant more every other year to keep it bright.
