Yeah I remember you were there when I got the larger 7lb one lol. This thing is a beast, grabs right away and holds the ski in place- it’s a “boat anchor” that actually anchors! Lol

@Razorpee oh yeah over the years I’ve had so many different anchors…every one rusted to nothing or never held the ski well to begin with. The 316 stainless trianchor is a game changer- let me know after you use it for first time- their bungees also have stainless hooks and hardware! No plastic to be seen except for the case- which is also very nice

I prefer TriAnchor vs Cooper as well because I don’t have to set it, it just grabs instantly. With the Cooper it may take me a while to set it properly and it doesn’t work in some bottoms. I am yet to find a bottom where TriAnchor does not grab.

Same here- this thing grabs so easily I don’t even check it anymore- just toss it out and know that it’s going to hold my ski in place.

Well I will get one for my second ski in 2024. I liked the cooper because it was all plastic so it wouldn't scratch my ski...it holds my ski in sand but i can easily pull it out, i even use a heavy chain leader and decent scope...in wind and waves i don't know if i would trust it unattended.

The 5lb trianchor has a basically indestructible case to protect the ski- and it would be almost impossible to break it since it’s solid pieces of stainless steel- way overbuilt

I gotta get that rear deck extension part. Little pricy but many that thing is huge. Too bad there no real good storage on ultra. That’s only thing I truly hate about my 310

Yeah it is huge and the rack accessory is massive. I think it’s got plenty of storage, but the opening on the front compartment is a few inches too narrow

Not needed, the 5lb with anchormate bungee is more than adequate! But you must use the bungee and not a regular anchor line

The WavesRX 3lb stainless trianchor and an anchormate bungee line would be perfect for either of those skis. I add a beach spike at the rear as well to keep my ski securely positioned. Check out the TriFenders as well..they keep your ski protected from the dock!
