The other difference in suburban rears are 4wd or 2wd. As long as you dont mix the two. As in 2wd caliper with 4wd pads. they will work on any axle. Have 04 suburban 4wd rear brakes on my 07c 2wd. The 4wd stuff is easyer to find around me.
You can buy a kit to remove a broken retaining bolt when it breaks. It consists of a guide that screws into the hole that has been drilled out the center... you use that to guide the included drill bit that then allows you to drill a hole in the broken bolt and then take the guide out and use the included easy out to remove what's left of the broken bolt. You can actually make the guide if you have a good milling machine. Ask me how I know.....
