Grande Vista was the resort where we had our sales presentation. We bought Harbour Lake. Love our timeshare, wish I knew of the secondary market at the time.

We also own Harbour Lake but haven't been back in a long time. It is a great resort. We need to book another stay there sometime in the future.
Thank you for the videos! They definitely helped me make a decision on this resort. We are going with a 1BR villa, so it’s not the same as your video here. But, based on your experience, do you have any specific building recommendations that are newer remodeled, good views? I know they don’t guarantee preference, but I thought I’d try if I can get some “insider” knowledge. Thank you!
Since most of the 1BR villas are just the 1BR side of a 2BR lock off, the unit you are likely to receive is what was shown from 0:50 through 5:24 plus the patio starting again at 7:55. As for which buildings to request. I beleive all of the Club Village section buildings have been renovated. That is buildings 95-100. None of those have spectacular views and I would try to avoid 97 because of the pool noise. I think the only requests they say they will take are high floor/low floor and lake/golf views. YOu really can't go wrong with any location. Though if you want to be close to the action, you would want to request the Main Village or West Village. Though there aren't many 1BR units in West village since buildings 77, 78, 85 and 86 don't have 1BR units. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!
They are all about the same with perhaps the exception of Lakeshore Reserve. Sabal, Imperial and Royal Palms have pretty direct access to Disney property. Though even once on WDW property, anything can be a long drive. For Harbour Lake, Cypress Harbour and Grande Vista. You can either take I4 west or drive south on International Drive to get to World Center Blvd and enter WDW that way. The furthest Marriott timeshare from WDW is Lakeshore Reserve. Depending on the park, it is 15-20 minutes away. You can be on Disney property pretty quick by going south on International Drive then right on 536. That will take you past the Marriott World Center hotel and onto Disney property. There are no parking or resort fees. A two bedroom will be okay for a family of six. Be sure to try to get a bedroom configuration that has two queen beds in the second bedroom. The other two bedroom configuration has a king in the second bedroom and isn't best as some kids will have to sleep on a sleeper sofa. Though you may still have that with two 14 year olds. But two queens in the guest bedroom is definitely the best option. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks for watching!
@@Jay-le8ki That may be similar but it sounds like it might be the two bedroom side of the three bedroom lock off villa. These have smaller beds in the second bedroom. It would probably still work as you can use the pull out sofa in the living room for the 6 year old and you may have a pack and play for the 1 year old.
@@Jay-le8ki In reality, there is no right answer to this question. All of the Marriott and Sheraton timeshare properties have a washer and dryer in the two bedroom villas. The best is really dependant upon what you want to do and how laid back or active of a vacation you want. Grande Vista is very big with lots to do and a small lake with water activities like small powered boats and fishing. Also a lot of onsite food and beverage options. Cypress Harbour is similar but it is much quieter and laid back. Food and beverage options aren't as plentiful but they have a small lake with similar type of activities (though perhaps a bit better). Harbour Lake is a very small kid oriented property with small pools. But has a large kids splash pad. Best for young children.
If you are looking to buy a timeshare week at Marriott's Grande Vista, then I suggest checking sites like Redweek.com or even eBay for resale timeshares. I also suggest going over to www.tugbbs.com and checking out the owner forums there. Lots of great information. Thanks for watching!
I agree. Oceana Palms is hard to live up to. We will have videos from Crystal Shores in September. Not sure when we will make it to Lakeshore Reserve though. We are still trying to find the most economical way to get there. We don't usually go to Orlando unless we can use an Accommodations Certificate with II which makes it real cheap. We don't see Lakeshore Reserve on II ACs very often.
