if you think about it, this song could also be the theme song for a zombie apocalypse. Run, baby, run! don't ever look back, they'll tear us apart, if we give them the chance....
I thought It was about romeo and juliet. Because you can see "juliet" in the title. And he said "they'll tear us apart" which he means the two familys might separated them and make sure they wont see each other again. You seen the movie romeo and juliet right?
A special edition episode of The Walking Dead in which the group are running from walkers but suddenly everyone, walkers and other enemies included, stop. They face the camera in a pre-planned formation and everyone bursts into the lyrics of Check Yes Juliet’ in an upbeat tune topped with extravagant dance moves and stunts. It ends ends with the group stood on tables singing powerfully, and walkers doing twirls and stunts around the tables in an impressive act of co-ordination and skill considering their brains are rotting and most of them are missing limbs.
My best friends and I saw them in concert when we were 14. I passed out from the heat and lack of water and got carried to a tent and was right next to them!! Best day of my life. My best friend Danny and I are still best friends to this day almost 15 years later ❤❤
oh gosh i remember wanting to learn guitar in middle school so i could learn this song for the girl i had a crush on and wanting to drive to her house in the middle of the night with a boombox even tho i wasn't even allowed out on my bike without my parents permission goodness the memories
"Run baby, run. Don't ever look back They'll tear us apart If you give them the chance Don't sell your heart, don't say we're not meant to be Run baby, run Forever we'll be You and me"
Just because people discover music through another band like 5SOS doesn't mean they can't like it. People share music, that's what it's all about. Now if they pretend to like it for the band, then yeah it's stupid and wrong but if they generally like the music you shouldn't hate on them.
Bruh same here I just woke up from sleeping today and suddenly this song played in my head. I mean im not complainin tho. Im so happy that I remembered this song 😭😭😭
+Tre G. you should get back to reading the series. I dont know how far you got but shit gets crazy in omen of the stars. Im a senior and I still follow this series. I highly recommend it though.
I know an Emo Pop/Punk cover band on Long Island, I met them at the first concert I ever went to, which was (you could guess) their concert, and when they played this song, I remember thinking "This is going to be my song to somebody one day" and I have now met that somebody. I'll come back when we have rings on our fingers
When me and my family were watching an episode of Star Wars Rebels, one of the characters was running away from the bad guy holding a baby. My sister sang the chorus as a joke during the scene, and it was the funniest thing ever. I still remember it vividly.
2021 and I have been listening to this song ever since my dad first showed it to me among the other songs of this band and this is one of my favorites by far and "sad song"
+Paige Phangirl Oh, don't beat yourself up over it. It's just one of those RU-vid Phases. You see, I never really talk to people in real life, I just use RU-vid comments to communicate
My older brother loves this song, so whenever I hear it I think of him. He's going to college soon, and this song reminds me of him. He always cared and hung out with me, and I know that I'll miss him when he leaves, but with this song, I'll always have him with me.
I remember listening to this when it first came out as a little girl with all my friends, and now that I'm in middle school, I remember in fifth grade, my friend used it to make us apologize. We literally all started singing it in lunch. Ahh, remember the good old days?
"Whatever will be... you and me." A song I've always loved, very nostalgic but a whole 'New Light' thrown on it for me these days. I'll always feel Kings Of Leon took influence from the lead guitar melody in this one, certain parts I hear Sex On Fire vibes. There will only ever be one WE THE KINGS and I'm so grateful to these gems for this song. I dedicate this one to Miller. A really special person to me.
