Checkfield - Tribute to the Everglades

It was my first long trip when I encountered the Everglades during a 1998 visit to Florida. As I explored this fabled 'River of Grass', a wonderful place for a nature-loving soul like mine, I didn't know my future best friend was sitting on the other side of the mangroves and saw palmetto. Terry ( BocaFriend) sent me this great song and inspired me with this music to experience and share a new journey into the Everglades. I hope you will enjoy the ride!

Fabulous! I think you covered every species except for the tiny mosquito. I was there and a little bit before you. I made the mistake of stepping out of the car to net a butterfly . After less than a minute I came rushing back to the car, my face covered with tiny gluttonous mosquitos and man could they bite! I left a little part of me in those Everglades. Very nice to see the birds and other species though. Thanks
