Its a 4340 4" stroke Scat crankshaft.... I Deburred and smoothed any sharp edges, polished the counter weights with sanding rolls in a die grinder and balanced it to the reciprocating weight of the engine...

@@Myersmetalworks I wish I would of done that to mine before I balanced it I've always looked for a vid on how to do crankshaft prep like what you did I just didn't know what I could or couldn't do to it a video about that one of these days would be awesome.

Sorry I didn't think about making a video on that job.... Thought it would bore people to death watching me grind away at it....Lol I tape up the journals real good, then round all the sharp edges and sand roll smooth the rest of the cranks counterweight surfaces... Don't know that it helps a ton but its just putting the human touch on it... It kinda makes it more yours the more effort you put into it.... The balance jobs have always worked out for me so far.....

I've never used sealant on those rubber halves I use rubber cement then sealant on the cap. Zero leaks you've just created a one piece seal.
