Please buy a little meat thermometer. When your chicken is at 160 on the inside it's done. I used to be like you. I was terrified of undercooked chicken but once I bought the meat thermometer....I'm the queen of cooking chicken now!
It was good to see Dad and Mom Church!!! That looked too hot there, although the pool and outdoor shower looked refreshing! I'm actually glad to be back up in the PNW, at least for now.
As far as I’m aware, iPhones have never been waterproof. They’re water resistant, meaning it’s really just to protect it in case you accidentally drop it in water real quick or get droplets on it if you’re in the bath or pool. I would never submerge an iPhone in the water like that, just get a waterproof case :)
I pulled an iPhone out of a river that had been there long enough that the previous owner had gotten a new cellphone. It still worked perfectly….seems pretty waterproof to me 😊
Yes once you get your screen or battery replaced, it’s no longer waterproof! When I was using insurance for a new battery, I had to check a box that says I understand it will no longer be waterproof

Shelby I’m dying to ask about that last (we’ll say nameless Roomba-ish) robot vacuum you had mapping your apartment etc (mostly wondering if it broke 🙄). They’re so expensive (considering the many reviews I’ve read about “worked for 2months”…& the many ‘refurbs’ available 🤔)
Just went to a padre game today! I try but I NEVER really can pay attention. I go for the food and drink too. I had no idea iPhones were waterproof😬 I definitely wouldn’t trust it.
I love San Diego. I couldn't buy a house there not with my salary. 😂 If I were to live in SD, my house would be worth an easy 1.5 million. The thing is where I live I get the same salary as I would live in SD.
LOVED the Italy vlogs! Please do not buy the pre-marinated meat items! The stores take the normal meats when they're closest to the sell by date (the oldest!) and then marinates and spices them to hide any discoloration! Don't take just m word for this look into it yourself!
I don't like kebabs because they don't cook evenly. The veggies will be burned and the chicken will still be raw. When I make them myself I put all veggies on their own skewers and meat on their own skewers.
iPhone has never been waterproof nor has Apple ever advertised it as such. They’ve been water resistant since the iPhone 7 and their certification can be checked online. Current iPhones are IP68 certified. The Apple Watch is closer to being waterproof and even that is just a higher level of water resistance.
I’ve often said this to friends who just got back from Europe, but you look thinner! Like for real, not that you weren’t thin before but like in your face you look thinner , I think it’s the food in Europe. Great vlog btw.
