This is a great hat that inspires confidence. I feel my head has the best protection wearing it. The stiff polycarbonate outer contains a well padded interior and the single handed adjustment is quick and easy to operate ensuring a snug and comfortable fit. The two adjustable side vents allow for a variety of ventilation options.
The powerful headlight charges up via USB and indicator lights show the level of charge in the battery. The three light arrays cover most illuminating circumstances and the tilt mechanism is used to obtain exactly the right position. It was not magnetic, as advertised, because there was no backside pad. The design is thoughtful with accessory positions front, back and at both sides so the hat can be equipped with lights and ear defenders or a visor. It looks pretty cool too!
