Checking Out The Palmer Supreme Soaker! 

I still use the Palmer PDI-03 rack unit with the filter blended with 3rd party IRs through the line out and it's massive. That flubbyish brown sound can really be tamed in post and blends awesome for modern metal IMO 🤙

All analog, love this. So many guitarists use palmer.... comes with rack ears woo hoo!

Palmer used to make really good little batteries for powering your pedal board. Proper isolated power as it didnt use the mains. More companies should do that!

Still using a Palmer PDi09 for live sound instead of a mic. No messing about with endless IR’s and mic stand faff. Just works. PDi 03 gets a lot of use at home along side my Two Notes Live so I’m really intrigued by this.

So you can use Speaker Tone with 150W Amp and 4x12" cab when using NO Attenuation? Crazy idea, need to check this out... Other thing: i think certain heavyness would give me good feeling and not a toy.

Might be a bit off-topic but I do use a Palmer power-supply on my pedalboard and I am very happy and satisfied with it. Just good quality (not getting paid here) and if I ever need such a unit I'd choose Palmer again.

This unit looks superb. I love its extensive functionality. Well done Palmer! Question: For recording, if you set Attenuation to Full, and the Line EQ to Bypass, does this allow the user to add an IR cab of their choosing inside their DAW? If yes, that would further expand choices - a lot of folks already have their favourite speaker IR's. Playing live, for convenience and consistency, I would likely only be using the unit's own speaker sim options (though I would want to check out a mic blend option too).

I assume this high gain sounds with this must be awful since anybody who touches it seems to be afraid to dial up the gain.

I've always loved Palmer's aesthetic, and this unit follows suit. 150watts is a smart play, box sounds good too. Thanks Fluff, good demo

I remember seeing the PDI-03’s in racks of so many bands I was touring with for a long time and being blown away with their tones through FOH. This thing seems like a beast

This box is clearly not made for metalheads. I appreciate their effort and I'm sure it's perfectly built. But at about $1200, no thanks. I'll have a Two Notes Captor X instead. At least you can load in your own IRs.
