My brother's and i have bought quite a few new can ams over the years and we always drive 3 hrs to Wild Country Sports in Longlac. Half way makes you feel like by being there youre bothering them where as Wild country is great to deal with.

Very interesting video. Those hose clamps are normally tightened to 5 or 6 nm but they were no where close to that !!

I think they were at 0 nm LOL! Thanks Vance!

Can Ams are for people who like to be constantly fixing them. Looks like they saw you coming. Pretty shitty though when you pay for something you don't even get. In this case a PDI. If I'm not mistaken they are assembled in Mexico. They aren't known for their quality control.

Depends how you ride them. Ya agree with you on paying for a service that is lacking. Thanks!

Complete nonsense. I have had multiple new Can Am’s, and use them hard on the farm. I’ve never had a problem beyond regular maintenance. I’ve had far more problems with Sportsmans, a brute force, and worst of all was a rincon.

Another great video Rob I don’t want to Can-Am but I do on an Argo fourwheeler and just little pieces like that make a huge difference I did have a question I was maybe looking at a aftermarket belt because Argo wants $200 for a belt so I’m wondering, how are you judge buying an aftermarket CVT belt. I know you had some numbers on there that you talked about.
@RobFarrowATV

This machine being brand new has a smaller belt than the old Outlanders, so I'm stuck with buying a 200 dollar belt. I don't believe there's any aftermarket belts for this machine yet. As for other machines I try and stay with the brand name but there are some belts out there that people swear by like gates but other people say they are good, so who knows. I check the bike shops online for aftermarket stuff, Fort Nine is usually where I buy but there's Revco also. Depends on where you're located. In the states there's Rocky Mountain, etc. Just do an online search. When it comes down to it I'd stick with a good name belt but you may get it cheaper shopping around. Good Luck and Thanks!

I haven't had no problems with my XMR 700 since I owned it I think it's up to the dealership to look it over and tighten up everything and I think my dealership did that Big shout to Quinn's Marina

Agreed, been buying my ATV’s, snowmobiles and Bass Boats arlt the same place since 1999. Theres a good reason they are still in business, because service is top knotch. My Skeeter bass boat had a recall last year, they found out on Thursday, I had a a bass tournament on Saturday, they drove two hours to my campground Friday morning and did the work right there so it would be ready to go the next day. A good dealership makes your experience so, so much better. Shoutout to JT motorsports!

You should have brought it back to Halfway motors powersports and have them do that work, still covered under warranty and you pay a fortune for the pre delivery inspection, shoddy work by Halfway Motors powersports

Tightening those hose clamps is like buying a new car and having to tighten lug nuts. Seems pretty sloppy.

How is the power going from the 850 to the 700 ??
@RobFarrowATV
@RobFarrowATV Месяц назад
No comparison, 850 has two cylinders and twice as much horse power. That being said, the 700 gives me plenty of horse power for what I do with it now, really enjoying the machine. Awesome trail machine. Thanks David!
